Favorite off-site dining?

Celebration has several really good restaurants, almost all with views of the lake if you choose to eat alfresco. Town Tavern is not really our favorite, and we live here, but it is fine. We love the sushi place, and D'Antonio's is good too. Columbia is good as mentioned, and their white sangria is yum-mee! The 1905 salad mentioned is a must order.

Shula Burger is easy to access from WDW, especially from AKL. They are super nice in there, and their sweet potato tater tots are mmmm. Carrabas is on 192 in that area, and also very good.

Columbia is actually old-line Spanish cuisine, not Cuban. There is quite a difference. The restaurant originated in the historic Ybor City area of Tampa, and has been one of the premier restaurants in Tampa since the dawn of time.

Columbia has several restaurants outside of Ybor City, and ANY time we are within driving distance of one of them, it is a must-do. We eat at the Columbia in Celebration every trip to WDW, and also when we go to Maitland (NE of Orlando) for figure skating competitions. When we go to Ellenton, FL for skating, we take the hour trip down to St Armands Circle in Sarasota to hit the Columbia there.

One required order every time is the legendary 1905 Salad, which is tossed at your table. It is amazing. When we were in WDW in December, I had the "Grouper Jimmy," which was absolutely to die for.

Great food, very good service, nice ambiance, and lower prices than you would expect for really good dining. Columbia is our favorite restaurant.

You've sold me. We might have to lengthen our stay to try all these great ideas!

A Tampa native here and I'd eat at the Columbia every night if I could. The 1905 salad truly lives up to the hype!!

If you like casual sitdown spots for burgers, we like Fuddruckers in the CrossRoads Plaza. Just be prepared for all the traffic congestion in that area on weekend evenings.

I vote for Columbia as well. 1905 salad is unbelievable and goes well with the sangria. Yum!!

We tried the BJ's Alehouse last month and didn't enjoy it at all. Pizza is their specialty so we tried that and side salads along with 2 non-alcoholic drinks. It was $48. The pizza is better at Uno's. It took us 2 hours to get out of there. Our food was so late that the manager gave us a free dessert - again one of the specialty desserts - and it wasn't that good. We were disappointed that we didn't go to Bahama Breeze next door.

We always visit Sweet Tomatoes and Cracker Barrel. We don't have those by us at home. Orlando Ale house is another place we like.

Bahama Breeze. There is one near DTD other side of I4 and one one I-drive. We used to live in FL and loved eating there. Try to enjoy it when we are there.

Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse for Italian and steak. I love their chicken parm and DH loves the fillet mignon with side of pasta. We really like there sauce. The meatballs are great too.
