Favorite non-headliners or "underdog" attractions

Carousel of Progress is one of our favorite attractions. When anyone is having a bad day, we sing the song to each other!

We do this too!!!

Our favorites:
CoP- you may want to avoid sitting by us. we can't help but sing.
Peoplemover- we always avoided it but road it a couple trips ago and fell in LOVE:love: It goes a lot faster than you think, and you get a wonderful breeze and a birdseye view of Tomorrowland!

Animation Academy- I can spend the whole day there. I have 6 frames, in my Disney themed guest room, filled with my drawings. I rotate them out after each new trip.

Figment- I've loved the character since my first trip when I was 7 years old. I used to have the hat with the big purple bill and the orange horms coming out the top. Man, I loved that hat.

Mine:
The People Mover
MK Train
aquarium exhibits at the Living Seas
Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Pangani Forest trail

I always do Living with the Land.
And if my family wants to leave MK before we've done Mickey's Philharmagic, they'll have to leave without me!

Flights of wonder, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination, Country Bears, Disney Junior show (as long as my little boy loves it), Muppet Vision, Animation Academy.

Wow, all these years I thought the blood was on the SAND, not the saddle! you learn something new every day!

We liked Living with the Land and Mickey's Philharmagic.

I don't think Spaceship Earth is an underrated attraction... I think everyone loves it, don't they?

Anyways, mine are The TTA and Living with the Land.

/
Flights of Wonder
Living with the Land
The Trails at AK
Wilderness Explorers (yup we loved it!)
Prince Charmings Regal Carrousel
The MK train
meeting Phineas and Ferb in DHS they are always so much fun!

Great topic!
In no particular order:

- Spaceship Earth - a must do upon arrival AND departure from Epcot every visit
- COP - as classic as they come
- People Mover - at least twice each visit to MK if for nothing else but to rest....it's replaced the skyway for us
- Living With The Land - so relaxing and enjoyable, every time

Wow, I've had a ball reading all these, and feel like I am not alone in loving the people mover and , yes, even Ellens in Epcot. I love the bird show in AK, Carousel of Progress, Primeval Whirl, and I must confess, I've never been on Figment, but I will try it in November:) I know this sounds dumb, but what is coP?

Back before FP+, I used to always consider throwing everyone for a loop and running into Circle of Life after entering the Land on the early morning Soarin' FP run. Of course, I don't think the rest of the family would find it as funny, when I return 30 minutes later without FPs :)

I don't think that anyone has mentioned 'Stitch Great Escape' :confused3 Many other non-headliners have been mentioned though. Does anyone actually ride Stitch more than once? We did it once about 5 years ago but never again! I wonder why they keep it open. There must be some people that like it? :crazy2:

I have enjoyed reading some of the favourite non-headliners and it's made me think about including a few of them on my next trip that I wouldn't normally do (such as Country Bear Jamboree- my mom loved that ride so I'm going to check it out again:-))

I was reading this thread to see if anyone would say Stitch, and it seems nobody has. It really is horrible. I have seen others in the past mention that they like it, but never someone say it is a must do for them.

I don't think you can call IASW underrated or not a headliner. It is one of the most mentioned and talked about rides at the Disney parks.

COP
Spaceship Earth
Tiki Room
People mover
Listen to the Land
One Man's dream in Disney/MGM
And

Tom Sawyer Island. It's quiet and away from the crowds.

Great Movie Ride is my favorite ride in all of WDW. I love that ride. Also:
Living With the Land
One Man's Dream
Peoplemover
Carousel of Progress
Tiki Room
Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse
And I love taking the train around WDW

I love the Great Movie Ride and have since the first time I rode it.

Living With the Land is so relaxing. And it surprised me how much the kids in our party enjoyed it.

The PeopleMover is my Mom's favorite ride. I was so bummed that it was down for refurb during our last visit! Especially since I never got to ride it at Disneyland.

Flights of Wonder is such an underrated show. I know it's not a huge spectacle like The Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo: The Musical, but the birds are glorious and the show is quite funny. I like how they walk that line between being very funny but still being respectful of the awesome animals.

I think the non-headliners are the rides that make my trip every year. I can ride a roller coaster close to home, but where else can I ride a slow moving, mostly dark, ride around a roller coaster!? Our family favorites are:

People Mover
Tiki Room (I'll say it. I'm not ashamed)
Imagination
Grand Fiesta Tour
Malestrom (I will miss this ride)

Laugh Factory
Living with the Land
People Mover
Tom Sawyer Island
Rafiki's

The only one I hit this last trip was Living with the Land :(

Not so unpopular after all I guess!

TriceraTop Spin is a favorite cause I love the cute dinosaur views and short lines.

I also love taking the train around MK.
