Curious about counter service, table service....inside the parks, not the hotels......what are your faves and do they require ADRs?

MK- Tonys - italian
AK- Yeti - Asian/Chinese
EP- Le Celier? - steak
DS- 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi
My kids love all of them and YES you will need ressies so make them ASAP

DHS - Sci-Fi...our kids love it

AK - not in AK but Rain Forest Cafe

MK - seems like we only eat at Peco's CS everytime but the fixin' bar is great!

Epcot - we like to do CS around the world, but that doesn't work for everyone...

My kids love Yak and Yeti in AK, why else but because you eat with chopsticks of course:goodvibes
They also love Rainforest Cafe, we know the food is very basic fare, not gourmet and can get it at any TGIF/Applebees but its just a family fav for us!
Coral Reef is also really fun to watch the fish and Giant Turtle in the Tank.

At MK, we were pleasantly surprised with the meal we had at Liberty Tree Tavern last fall. It was very good. For counter-service at MK, we enjoy Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's. Oh, the Plaza is also a nice little restaurant that we liked.

At Epcot, our favorite CS is Sunshine Seasons at The Land. We had a fabulous meal at Tutto Italia, also.

At DHS, we typically eat at Backlot Express for CS, sometimes Pizza Planet, but it's not great. We like 50's Prime Time Cafe a lot, though.

At AK, we like Pizzafari or Flame Tree BBQ for CS. The only sit-down meal we've ever had at AK is the Tusker House character breakfast, so I can't comment on Yak & Yeti or Tusker House lunch/dinner buffet.

I always make ADRs for sit-down meals. Since there are so few TS restaurants in most of the parks (exception of Epcot) they fill up pretty quick, I think.

On our trip last month, Tusker House at AK was our best meal of the whole week. The 5 adults and a one year old all loved it. The food was great, the server was really nice, and it was relaxing. DD ate like a champ and we had the best afternoon.

AK - Pizzafari is ok.
DHS - Sci-Fi or 50's prime time
MK - Pecos Bills and Tony's
Epcot - Biergarten and Cantina San Angel

Also, at DTD, T-Rex is fabulous (if very noisy)

Disclamer: my DD6 is an adventurous eater. She is not a chicken nugget and fries kid. She would much rather have whatwever we are eating, to include goat cheese, bok choy and everythnig in between. She loves a nice restaurant, and doesn't tend to get impatient.

We LOVE The Plaza in MK. It is a must do every year. They have really good sandwiches and the location is great. We just love the atmosphere.

We really enjoyed Mama Melrose in DHS, as well as the Brown Derby. DD loved looking at all the cartoons and the food is excellent, but pricey( we had free dining).

In EPCOT our favorites were Les Chefs and Coral Reef. We loved the feel of Les Chefs, and thought the food was really good . We all fought over the cheese plate appy. The aquarium in Coral Reef is amazing, and the seafood was top notch, coming form someone who grew up on fresh Gulf seafood. We also really enjoy the fish and chips at Yorkshire County.

We have not doene a lot of eating in AK, but were pleased with Flame Tree.

Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, though I keep begging them to bring the characters back.

Just about any of the TS restaurants in Epcot, although I can't vouch for China, Norway, or England. Le Cellier, Marrakesh, San Angel, Biergarten, Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia. All quality. For CS, definitely Sunshine Seasons in the Land.

Love the backlot in HS for CS. Don't usually end up there for a TS meal.

Flametree BBQ for CS in AK. Again, don't usually end up there for TS.

There are wonderful options in the resorts that aren't too far from the parks. Love Cape May Cafe at BC. Have heard great things about Yachtsman Steakhouse and Kouzzina. All of those are walking distance (or a short boat ride) from HS and Epcot. Grand Floridian Cafe, 1900 Park Fair, Chef Mickey's, Artist Point, California Grill, etc., are all in close proximity to the MK.

And DTD has lots of restaurant options, too. A trip's not complete without a trip to Earl of Sandwich!
