Hi. Going to be a senior next year and need to start looking for quotes for the yearbook. Looking for quotes from musicals that would be good for something like this. So far I have-

"Right now everything seems so important. But time rushes by at a clip. And when you look back, these high school years will be nothing more than a blip- so, you might as well enjoy the trip." -Bring it On: The Musical

"Where better to escape trouble than a theater?" -Newsies: The Musical

"...And the best that we can do is hope a bluebird will sing his song as we stumble along." -The Drowsy Chaperone

"Being true to yourself never goes out of style." -Legally Blonde: The Musical

"Every life is unbelievably unlikely. The chances of existence are most infinitely small. The most common thing in life is life- and yet every singly life, every newborn life, is a miracle." -Matilda: The Musical

"Nobody else is gonna put it right for me. Nobody but me is gonna change my story." -Matilda: The Musical.

"Love is never gone. As we travel on, love's what we'll remember. Kiss today goodbye and point me towards tomorrow. We did what we had to do. Can't forget, won't regret, what I did for love." -A Chorus Line

"If you can know where you're going, you've gone. Just keep moving on." -Sunday in the Park with George

"All I know I've learned from telly." -Matilda: The Musical

"Shut up Marius." -Les Miserables

Any more suggestions? All I ask is no Footloose, Children of Eden, or Little Shop of Horrors (all high school shows I never performed in. awks). Open to both serious and funny ones.

Thanks!

I'm not famliiar with a ton of musicals, but here's one kind of cheesy one I love from Wicked:
"Who can say if I've been changed for the better? But because I knew you, I have been changed for good." Or just anything from that song.
I also really like the Newsies one you had, that one has my vote.
I have a ton of Disney ones I considered when thinking about my senior quote, but not necessarily from musicals. Like this one: "Open different doors. You may find a you there that you never knew was yours. Anything can happen." --Mary Poppins
And of course, my all time favorite, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players..." --Shakespeare. Which is also not a musical, but the only reason I didn't use it for my senior quote was because it is so well-known. I had to at least mention it....
But of the ones you have, I definitely like the Newsies one best.

"If you know what you want, then you go and you find it and you get it." - Into the Woods.

"Take a look at the invisible girl. Here she is, clear as the day. Please look closely and find her before she fades away." - Next to Normal

"Don't be afraid it won't be perfect. The only thing to be afraid of, really, is that it won't be." - Company

"Stop worrying where you're going, move on. If you can know where you're going, you've gone." - Sunday in the Park with George

It depends on who you were in HS, truthfully. If you were a star constantly shining, bright/bubbly, try Newsies or a Sondheim show (only the fun parts of Sondheim haha)

If you hid behind the curtains, N2N or Once is good.

It's up to you. I'd probably go with the first ITW quote.
