Many may disagree with me, but I have to say we really enjoyed Coronado Springs. And here's why... The pool is unbelievable, both the giant pyramid and the accompanying waterslide. The Pepper Market is terrific bang for your buck, especially when using the DDP. The choices are delicious, many bordering on TS quality for a CS credit. Most important... Its a convention center. Now stay with me here.

"Oh, I don't like all those suits and ties. It takes me out of vacation mode and robs me of my magic." We LOVE all those suits and ties, because for the better part of the day they are in meetings. This means they are NOT taking up valuable seat space on the bus. We had the experience of private bus transport to a park on several occasions when we stayed at CSR.

Would happily stay again !

Couldn't have said it better myself! I'd just add that CSR has queen beds instead of doubles, as well as a fitness center, spa, and room service.

The only moderate we have stayed at is CSR, and we are getting ready for our fourth stay!

POFQ hands down. It's small so very thing is close no matter where your room is. POFQ also has a boat to DTD, a very relaxing way to get there. You don't have a tip at the food court like at CSR, something I detest. Besides, I'd never get DBF to agree to go back to CSR after how bad the room was and the fact he got ill from eating the food at PM.

I don't need a TS at my resort, I already have too many favorite places to eat at in the parks and other resorts so that's not an issue for me. I don't spend that much time at the pool and have only used the hot tub in all my stays about 3 times.

Hi another for CSR. We stayed there last year and are going back again this Sept. Everything from the rooms, grounds. pool, restaurant, buses and CMs were great. A good idea is to check out the FAQ threads of each moderate resort. There is a lot of information, pictures and people to answer questions.

Port Orleans French Quarter is our favorite mod hands down. We love it there. It's compact size, adorable theming, fun pool, great bus service and boat to DTD...you just can't beat it. Really...the size is what does it for me. Every building is close no matter which one you are in and you don't have to spend a huge amount of time in transit from the bus to your room.

My family is all about maximizing the time spent having fun. So POFQ meets all of our needs when we stay mods.

I have stayed in all 4 mods and POR is by far my favorite because of:

• Boat to DTD
• Bob Jackson @ the River Roost
• I like the dining options
• The Bayou & Mansion sections makes it feel like 2 resorts in one.
• It doesn't feel as spread out as CSR & CBR

Another vote for POFQ. We love the atmosphere and the ability to take the boat to DTD. If you are lucky, you can catch one of those perfect Disney mornings with the dew on the grass and the light fog over the courtyard - it is truly beautiful.

You will get MANY different responses on this. While 20 people have a great experience at one resort, another two people may not (or vice versa).

We have visited all of the moderates, but we have only stayed at one -- the Coronado (CSR). We've stayed eight times with number nine booked and we have had near perfect stays every time. We've had top notch mousekeeping, wonderful CM's who have gone above and beyond, great room locations, good food at the pool bar, Pepepr Market, Rix and Maya Grill. The pool is great, we love having the queen beds, the spa, etc.

As I said, we've only stayed there, but we've been to each of the other three a number of times and this is the order we would choose if we were to stay at a different one: POR-Riverside (great food court, nice theme); POFQ (compact resort, but no quiet pools--very important to DH and I) and CBR would be last.

However, I truly don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

POFQ - just because fo the size of the resort - least amount of walk around time and the 1st bus stop before POR, which shares the buses.

Otherwise, we like deluxe resorts, including the beloved Dolphin

We have stayed at all of the mods. CSR is our favorite, followed by POFQ. We just stayed at CSR this past March, and I fell in love with the resort. Plus, you cannot beat the newly refurbished rooms and comfy queen beds. The Digsite pool area is wonderful, and they have a huge hot tub. We are going back in Aug!

I'd like to add that POFQ has it's own bus stop at MK in the evening. A huge plus for a small resort.

Have stayed at them all ~ CBR is our favorite, with POR at a close second. Then POFQ, and CSR being last.

We have stayed at all the mods except POFQ. We favor POR because of the beautiful grounds, the boat to DTD, and the entertainment in the bar which is kid friendly and just great fun. Depending on where your room is, you could end up with a very long walk to the main building, but I always just enjoy the scenery and don't mind the walk at all.
