Where are the best places to meet if you get separated from your party? I have DD8 and DD12 and want to have a place to meet in each of the parks that will be easy for them to find.

Good question. You're smart to plan this ahead of time. What ever you do, don't pick some place that is likely to be crowded, like the hub in front of the Castle at WDW.

The park first aid stations are usually nice quiet places to meet.

People always say to avoid the busy areas...of course that is often still where we choose to meet up just because it's easy. I think pretty much a good place is a place everyone can get to easily. For example, a good place at MK I would think would be Liberty Square...you could choose a spot like at the tree, or at the bell, or in front of Hall of Presidents. In MGM I would probably say something like Gertie's because it's out of the way. Epcot, would depend on what the itinerary for the day was. There may need to be a country to meet up at, or a section in Future World. You could do something fun like meet at Ice Station Cool! If you wanted a spot in WS, I would choose something off the main path, like the fountain in Italy, the Viking Ship, or the Stave Church. AK is harder because everything feels so surrounded. We don't do alot here, so we have never had to meet up with anyone....
Anyway, just some ideas.

I totally agree not to pick the major icons - I used to work in an amusment park and everyone would say - meet at the eifel tower - you would not beleive how many people would be there looking for someone and the area was so large it oculd mean anywhere there - just make sure you are very specific - but you could still pick near the icon so they could easily get there but know exactly where you will look for them -

we always pick out bench areas. at mgm we meet right before the entrance to the RNR area. at EPCOT we meet inside of test track there are benches. at animal kingdom we meet in front of dinosaur and at the MK we meet at the benches in tomorrowland near space mountain. my grandma is awlays with us and its easier for her to sit and wait and we can always spot her white hair!
