I'm bringing kids so we booked: Chef Mickey, Cinderella's royal table, garden grill, 1900 Park Fare and the Sci-Fi. That leaves 2 more Table meals. I know my DS wants to do ESPN but I'm at a loss for last table meal. I'm looking to book a really nice sit-down dinner for my tablemeal but only want to use 1 point. Any suggestions will be appreciated. TIA

Will you go to EPCOT? If so how about one of the WS restaurants?
Teppanyaki in Japan is one of our favorites :cloud9:

I have read MANY horrible things about Garden Grill; there is an entire multi-page thread on this forum devoted to how awful it is. You might want to rethink that one. If it's the characters, what about Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace? Many good reviews on those.

For a nice sit down, Le Cellier has rave reviews and is only 1 credit. Cinderella's Royal Table is also only 1 credit for dinner. Heard this was really nice food (yummy and expensive) and the atmosphere is great for the kids. I see you already have that planned, I'm assuming for breakfast. We're actually doing CRT for b'fast AND dinner on the same day!!

Have to say Le Ceiller is a really good sit down 1 credit place. I would NOT do Gardern Grill(REALLY REALLY BAD)....Try anywhere else.

Simple based on the reviews I read...I decided against Garden Grill and on Le Cellier. These are both new experiences for us...granted dining in DW is also somewhat (even though this is my 8th trip) thanks to lots of squished sandwhiches when I was a child...But that's what the "free" dining program is doing for me! Drawing us in with 4 character meals and getting us used to not carrying around a ton of food.

I canceled GG. thanks for the info. Tried to book Le Cellier but filled.

Why don't you try Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. It sounds like a lot of fun. We will be going there when we go in Oct.

Chefs De France has great food and if you go early to dinner, ask to sit in the window enclosed area attached to the main dining room. Kids can people watch, less diners in this area, and our waiter was very attentive. Plus, only 1 TS credit!

The food at the Kona Cafe is really good and the desserts are awesome. There is a kiddie cone, a huge waffle cone standing up with a cotton candy ring, vanilla and chocolate ice cream and mickey confetti, I think there is a picture on the boards. If you search this thread and put in "kiddie cone" SeaSpray's Reviews with pics added (I think that is the title) will come up and there are lots of great pictures on it. Adult desserts are great, too!

Apparently the Garden Grill is reverting back to the old menu on August 21st.
Mickey, Chip and Dale and Pluto will be happy to see more people returning I'm sure. :goodvibes
