We are in the planning stages for two trips now. One for this May for a quick weekend trip during the Garden & Flower Show and another for a longer Summer trip.

We are looking for lunch ideas. We intend to do lunch as our major meals during this trip so that we can fit in the snacks and the pool time that we always miss when we try to do large breakfasts and dinners.

BTW - We are not adventurous eaters at all and are extremely picky. The party consists of my DM, my DS (12), and myself.

Thanks for any info!!!!!

Kona Cafe at the Poly has SPECTACULAR food! Yummy! I have eaten there twice for dinner and have heard rave after rave from people who had lunch there. :thumbsup2

i second the Kona. Ate lunch there in March. the place was not that crowded, we had great service. the staff took really good care of us, including taking pix. The food was a notch above the theme park food at MK IMHO :thumbsup2 o, yes--the atmosphere was kind of quiet compared to some of the WDW restaurants

The World Showcase restaurants are as good for lunch as for dinner (and often less expensive). I recommend you check into Chefs de France, Biergarten, Marrakesh, Teppanyaki, Rose and Crown, Le Cellier (in that order).

I love the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch...it's sunny and cheerful, and the food is very good.

I also like Fulton's for lunch...no long line and also excellent service. I recommend sitting in the bar with the view of the water.
