Favorite location to stay at POP?

We have never stayed at POP and would like to give it a try. Could you give us some of your best insider tips?? It looks like such a fun resort!!

I thought it was great. We tried mod last time we went and I thought for the money, I would rather be at POP. So, we are going back. We only ate breakfast there once...typical CS breakfast...nothing spectacular. Did not swim...went in December. Buses are GREAT! Only one stop, no resort sharing. Unlike Port Orleans (that was my con about POFQ). My daughters favorite was the arcade. I would definately give it a go.

we ended up in the 70s section, to the right of the Big Wheel on the first floor, and I loved it. We were between the food court and the lake and it was usually really quiet (sometimes you could hear kids playing with the Twister game that was near our room, but it was never at unreasonable times)

50's any floor is great. It's close to parking and the food court/buses.

The 2 times I was at Pop I was solo. It was from Fri-Sun before switching to BCV. This Nov Im doing the same.
They have put me close to the food court in the 70s Big Wheel bldg.
This time I asked for 50s as I'll be at WDW celebrating my 50th birthday!

Thanks everyone I'm really excited. We have stayed at lots of WDW resorts but haven't made it here yet. I'm really looking forward to it.

we've stayed in the 60s, but for next month, i've requested a lake view, any floor/building (hoping it will be quiet!)

My thoughts exactly! We've also stayed in the 50's building closest to Classic Hall, again on the 4th floor, facing the parking lot, and although the view wasn't as nice as looking out at the lake, it was still very quiet.
