Favorite kind of cookie?

I love chocolate chip cookie dough without the chocolate chips - Don't tell me that it's just a sugar cookie. I prefer the name Chocolate Chip free Chocolate Chip Cookie. When I was little I would spend hours removing all the chocolate chips from my moms cookie dough when she left it in the fridge to set.

DS and I used to eat the chocolate chip cookie dough all the time too! That's why I was hooked on choc. chip cookie dough ice cream for a while.

Favorite cookie is definately "homemade" choc. chip.

My fav are also White Chocolate Macadamia Nut. Once a year Market Day has scoopable cookie dough and they have this and I have a VERY hard time waiting until they are cooked!!!! I always pick out the white chocolate circles and the nuts before they are baked.......very addicting!!!!!

Subway has good WCMN cookies too!

You and I are alike! When I make chocolate chip cookies from scratch, I make a batch with little or no chocolate chips for me and a batch with chocolate chips for my husband and daughter. I also like nuts in the cookies, my husband hates nuts.

My favorite has to be oreos- with the chocolate filling. My second favorite is chocolate chip cookies- cooked or just the dough with a tall glass of milk! I pretty much love anything chocolate without nuts. I'm definitely a choc-a-holic!

There were some really awesome and big cookies that i used to get in high school, choc chip and peanut butter. It was 50 or 60 cents for two of them! My other fav is molassas. Yummy!

Brer Papa I would love the recipe for the cherry bars because the next to chocolate Cherries are my favorite. Mix those two and I am in Heaven.

Here you go...it's a 2 parter...

Cherry Coconut Bars

<b>first the pastry</b>:
2 cups flour
1 cup margarine
6 tablespoons powdered sugar

Mix. Pat into a 9 X 13 pan and bake @ 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let it cool when done.

<b>Filling</b>:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 & 1/2 cups chopped walnut
1 & 1/2 cups coconut
1 cup chopped maraschino cherries

Mix filling then spread over the cooled pastry in the 9 X 13 pan.
Bake 25 minutes @ 350 degrees. Let it cool after baking.

Cut & serve
