Favorite II locations

I think our family has decided to pass on the DCL west coast cruise next summer cause it's just too dang expensive. I priced a 7-day Meditteranean cruise on RCCL for 3K less than the DCL cruise, yikes! Now I'm motivated to come up with a real doozy of a vacation to make up for our disappointment so we're thinking Europe or Hawaii using our II exchange. Tell me where you have experience with exchanges, what's a real knockout location? We love the beach & water, but have never been to Europe so that would be cool too.

What about Cancun, Cabo or Puerto Vallarta. All would be easy to get to from TX and can be killer beach vacations. I'd also put HH on that list. All will be very hot for summer. HI is certainly a great place to go. Enjoy.

If you decide to try Hawaii, the Kona Coast on the Big Island is not too hard to book into on points (some of the others are almost impossible). That puts you on an island where the nightlife and beaches aren't that great (and the Kona coast requires a walk across a golf course to get to the beach), but where the exploring and culture and volcanic sightseeing are absolutely fabulous.
