Cost per night: $59 w/entertainment rate
Parking Cost: $0
Breakfast Included?: No
Best feature: PRICE, clean, nice grounds, friendly staff, walking distance
Worst feature: None (ok, maybe because there is no breakfast? But we just bring our own!)

FAVORITE HOTEL: Candy Cane Inn
Cost per night: $99-$139 (for a standard room according to their website)
Parking Cost: 0
Breakfast Included?: Yes! Cereal, muffins, bagels, toast, fruit, doughnuts, etc
Best feature: easy walking distance AND a free shuttle; nice landscaping
Worst feature: I've heard people say the rooms are a little small but honestly it hasn't been a problem for us.

FAVORITE HOTEL: Desert Inn & Suites
Cost per night: $59 basic suite, but we pay $129 for the C2.
Parking Cost: Free
Breakfast Included?: Yes, but very basic.
Best feature: The distance to the park, it's right across the street.
Worst feature: The pool is small.

Family trip,Camelot,close to DL and Mickey D's no parking fee,cool pool.
Solo trip,Alpine.Cheap,good walking distance,close to 7-11 ,gets the job done
Next trip we'll give HoJo's a shot. Let the G-Kids play in the 'pool' area.

Worst feature: No breakfast, a bit of a walk but not bad!

FAVORITE HOTEL: Best Western Stovall's
Cost per night: just booked nights for my spring trip for around $65 a night
Parking Cost: free (and plentiful!)
Breakfast Included?: yes
Best feature: The beds. Oh, the beds 2 pools & 2 hot tubs. Free breakfast. And the topiary trees
Worst feature: On Katella, not Harbor (which doesn't bother me, but from what I've read, most people would rather stay on Harbor?).

FAVORITE HOTEL: Hilton Garden Inn
Cost per night: $90
Parking Cost: None (at the time of our stay; it is now $12/day)
Breakfast Included?: Yes, in our bed & breakfast rate
Best feature: The nice rooms, the service, the free cookies and drinks in the lobby
Worst feature: None during our stay, but I'd have to say the new parking charge is not nice.

Regarding the DL Hotel at the relatively low rate, I assume that's not a rate that you could currently get, and is the price the poster paid sometime in the past. I know I stayed at the DLH early Jan 2006 for $89 AP rate. With tax and resort fee, it came to $114 a night. I couldn't pass that up and the stay was quite nice, but there's just no way I'd pay the current prices of over $200/night.

Cost per night: $135 including tax avg. for KidSuite in March 2010
Parking Cost: $0
Breakfast Included?: no
Best feature: Walking distance to park, clean rooms, relatively fair prices, nice staff
Worst feature: Highway noise due to location of some rooms.

Cost per night: $300+ Not sure... I always buy a package from WDTC
Parking Cost: $14/day I believe
Breakfast Included?: No
Best feature: Proximity to parks and the fact that it is the only themed hotel in DLR
Worst feature: I'd say none, some say price!

Motel 6 - won't go back
don't like the hard wood floors.

Portofino in a Kid Suite - $99 rate in Jan 07
Wonderful, Spacious, great staff, heated pool, walking distance, near mini mart

Candy Cane Inn - Grandpa paid
dedicated shuttle, great staff, lovely breakfast offerings

Disneyland Hotel - splurge at $200 for my 40th bday
Worth every penny. It was a celebrate trip.
I would love to spoil my mom for her birthday one year.

We love the skylight rooms & the pool area

FAVORITE HOTEL: Hotel Menage
Cost per night: 80(ish)/Per Night
Parking Cost: 10$ for Self parking, 12 for Valet. Parking is all Secure.
Breakfast Included?: No
Best feature: Huge nice pool (Open 24 hours). Newly remodeled rooms with super comfy beds, "boutique" style decor.
Worst feature: It is on the other side of Harbor PAST the Hojo... So it is a longer walk.

Cost per night: $150-$200 (we paid $150 last summer)
Parking Cost: $6
Breakfast Included? yes, full cooked to order with everything you can imagine!
Best feature: Two room suites, nice breakfast.
Worst feature: internet isn't free. Is a mile from DLR, so a tad far to walk, although we did it once.

Cost per night: $59 w/entertainment rate or slightly more for fantastic premium room offering a Disneyland Park view.
Parking Cost: $0
Breakfast Included?: No, but we don't like the 'free' usually stale breakfasts offered elsewhere. (Such as BWPPI.)
Best feature: PRICE, SUPER clean, lovely grounds,friendly staff offering superior service, great coffee machines, INDOOR room (safer feel) entry, walking distance only 7-8 min., restaurants low priced and great quality all around, free wired internet, awesome children's play area around Pirate's Cove, need I say more? Oh wait- the orange cream-sicle scented shampoo and conditioner, LOL! Fabulous. I also love the little store that stocks a million items or more, at a reasonable price. FREE indoor safes! Excellent!! Also - free computer kiosks for the guests to use.
Worst feature: ? Seriously? There is no worst feature for my favorite second home.

We won't stay anywhere else. Hojo's is it for us.
