Smoothies are amazing but an expensive treat & I hate wasting the bananas noone eats so now those sad old looking but super sweet bananas go into home-made blends & was wondering what sorts of combos other people make from household ingredients.

Today, I have people working from home so it was a combo of bananas, frozen mango from Trader Joes, a single serving of Fage (I'll use any plain or Vanilla) with a splash of OJ and milk, it was so good.

Frozen berries, Greek or plain non fat vanilla yogurt. If I have them:, granola, chia seeds and a small handful of spinach. Oat milk/almond milk/honestly whatever milk, ice and water to taste/blend/texture. Sometimes I might throw in a pinch of cinnamon.

I throw whatever fruits and veggies into my juicer and/or ninja that are approaching their expiration date. Add some yogurt, protein, etc and I'm good.

Usually the frozen banana that nobody ate when fresh, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, spinach, PB powder, turmeric, black pepper, water, maybe some honey, cinnamon, and whatever other frozen fruit I might have...usually a berry.

We have one twice a week.
Mixed berries, cocoa powder, vanilla yogurt, banana, chocolate almond milk....lots of crushed ice

I also start with a yogurt base and add fruit based on what I have on hand and what I’m in the mood for. Favorites are banana, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, mango, and pineapple. Lots of good combinations of 2 or 3 of these. If you like colada drinks, try adding some coconut milk or canned cream of coconut.😋

I don’t like them but my kids do, I always have big bags of sliced frozen bananas, mixed berries, and mango in the freezer.

Chocolate Elvis (that's what Smoothie King calls them) Banana, ff vanilla yogurt, PB 2 (peanut butter powder) whatever kind of milk you want and ice. I usually use greek yogurt and 2% milk. Edited to add cocoa powder, duh, how can you have chocolate Elvis without cocoa powder?

I like the coconut idea with summer knocking.

For those of you who drop stuff like spinach in it, does it throw off the flavor? Guessing I could hide the color in blueberries but it would need to not taste suspicious.

I have 3 go to blends. I have several bags of frozen fruit on hand:

Pineapple
Raspberries
Strawberries
Pineapple Juice
Plain Greek yogurt or Vanilla Kefir

Blueberries
Blackberries

Banana
Cranberry juice

Tangerine Juice (Trader Joe's--amazing stuff)
