What are your favorite places to eat? Could be in DL, DCA, any of the hotels of Downtown Disney

I love the lobster nachos at Cove bar and the chicken at Plaza Inn.

Here is my list of favs:
In DCA
Pacific Wharf Cafe bread bowls with either of the soups or salads
Wine Country Cafe both the Lasagna Rustic and the quattro pomodoro

In Disnyland
Harbour Gallery both soups
Hungry Bear Cafe Fried Green Tomatoe sandwich and the Turkey and Provolon sandwich
Bitg Thunder BBQ (Hint both the Smore's Bake and Chef Cookie's Deep Dish are great dessert but was big enough to share with a goup of 4 us)
Plaza Inn the fried chicken
Cafe Orleans

DTD
Jazz Kitchen (both the restaurant and the express
Naples
Nappolini

In the Hotels
Napa Rose
Steakhouse 55
Trader Sam's

I love the corn chowder at Storytellers in The Grand Californian. It is the heartiest soup. It is a creamy bowl of corn, chicken, bacon, and cilantro. It is most definitely filling enough for a meal and it comes with delicious corn muffins and soft bread.

In DL:

Cafe Orleans - three cheese monte cristo and pomme frites
Rancho del Zocalo - cheese enchiladas
Plaza Inn - fried chicken
Corn dog

In DCA:

Wine Country Trattoria - shrimp appetizer and lasagna, also like the shrimp scampi pasta
cheese corn dog at Corn Dog Castle
Cinnamon roll at Starbucks

In DTD:

Jazz Kitchen - gumbo and green godess salad
Jazz Kitchen Express - breakfast burrito and chickory coffee

Beignets at Ralf Brennen's Express
Everything at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ
Plaza Inn - fried chicken (as good as everyone says it is)
Pacific Wharf Cafe - clam chowder in bread bowl
Village Haus - saurkraut sausage on pretzel bun

DL: Chicken at Plaza Inn, the lunch dessert bar at Club 33 (may it RIP), that potato business at Blue Bayou, DOLE WHIP
DCA: Flo's, Paradise Pier cone

DL: Cafe Orleans - Monte Cristo and Pomme Frites & Pooh Corner - Tigger Tails
DCA: Pacific Wharf Cafe - Soup in a bread bowl & Cozy Cone - Churro Bites

My absolute favorite quick service meal is at the Paradise Garden Grill in DCA. They have delicious skewers w/ a choice of sauces (I heart the chimichurri sauce), as well as rice and some kind of pita bread. I haven't had it in a couple of years b/c I have gone during the Xmas season. They had surprisingly excellent Mexican food instead. The posole was almost good enough to rival grandma's! Hubby loves the corndogs from either park. As far as restaurants, I like Blue Bayou mainly for ambience--frankly, the food is hit or miss. It's enough to make me drag the old man there despite his complaints. We also really like the Carthay Circle for swankiness and food. I hope to hit the Napa Rose on our next visit as this place always seems to have rave reviews. Someone mentioned the beignets from Jazz Kitchen, and I agree. They are far superior to the cute Mickey ones in DL. I love the Jazz Kitchen not so much for the food, but for the awesome good time I had there once when we were seated in the piano room.

My most favorite place is Flo's V8 Cafe in DCA. The theme is just so amazing that I can sit there forever just enjoying the music and sights. Haven't had a bad meal there yet either. Turkey dip and roast beef sandwiches are good, I love the pasta salad, mini pies are yummy, and the brioche french toast for breakfast is decadent.

Red wagon corn dog (2-3 times per trip)

Cafe Orleans - Monte cristo and fries

Jazz Kitchen express - po' boy sandwiches and beignets

Plaza Inn - fried chicken (of course)

French Market - French dip sandwich

For our upcoming trip there are a few places I've never been in all my trips and plan to try - Cove Bar lobster nachos, Paradise Garden Grill skewers, Harbour Galley baked potato and lobster roll.

Mmmm now I'm hungry!

All of these plus the Bengal BBQ skewers, Big Thunder BBQ, Rancho del Zocalo Citrus Fire-Grilled Chicken, Pacific Wharf clam chowder, Plaza Inn Cobb salad and while it isn't the food, but location, I love going to Hungry Bear and sitting as far back as I can in the downstairs to enjoy the quiet.

Table service in parks-Carthay Circle (love those fried biscuits), for counter service I love the Bengal BBQ skewers and for a restaurant out of the parks my favorite is Napa Rose.

I'm sure they've all been said but our must go places include Bengal BBQ, Plaza Inn (Fried Chicken), Hungry Bear Restaurant, and Blue Bayou in DL, and Flo's for breakfast in DCA. We also have a daily need to fill out tummies with a churro, or a beignet and mint julep.

I am looking forwarded to getting to try Napa Rose this next trip..... only a month to wait!

Those Cove Bar nachos are amazing. They were my favorite thing I had. I didn't try to corn dogs. The line always looked too long but I think I will this time.

Totally agree. I didn't care for the fried green tomato sandwich but I loved sitting here and eating. Great place to relax and enjoy a nice day

I've heard the food isn't as good since the menu changed in December? I haven't eaten here but have sat in here while my toddler napped in the stroller.

The wait in line is sooo worth it! We do try to time it to eat there during off peak dining hours though because standing in line salivating for a corn dog for 30 minutes can be pure torture lol.

I've only started going since December (got my AP in November), so I can't really compare the two. I have been satisfied with everything I've chosen there, though. Hopefully going back to try the Chicken Tamale breakfast on my trip in a couple weeks.

hmmmm Two words---Dole Whip!

Also:
Jolly Holiday - tomato soup and grilled cheese combo
- mickey macaron-- I have liked all the flavours so far
Carnation Cafe- deep fried pickles and a milkshake
Paradise Garden Grill - all the skewers I have tried were good (special nod to the brownie one!)

Creme Brule--I have had it at Blue Bayou, Goofy's kitchen and Jolly holiday---yum!

Trader Sam's ---anything with rum in it !!!

Corn Dog at the Little Red Wagon
Fried Chicken at Plaza Inn
Surf and Turf at Blue Bayou
Carne Asada and Cheese Enchilada at Rancho del Zocalo
Steak Skewers at Paradise Garden Grill

Still need to try Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe one of these days! We usually prefer the flexibility of counter service.
