Favorite experience or memory

My daughter has done Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique three times; but that first time, we had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and Belle became ill and didn't make it to our table. They felt bad and even though I told them we had Akershus reservations for the next morning, they gave us fast passes for the meet and greet in Town Square Theatre. This was before they changed everything and moved Belle out. They told them what had happened before we got there and all three princesses were great. But I will never forget this interaction with Belle. My daughter was 9 so she knew the deal with characters; but Belle thanked her for coming all the way there in the rain (Tropical Storm Debby) to find her after she went missing from the castle.

Now that Belle isn't doing meet and greets in her gown in MK, it's even more special to me.

Next was Belle. I love what she did. She thanked dd for coming all the way down there to find her after she went missing at the castle.

Then they also danced.

I can’t remember what they were talking about here, but dd was totally focused.

Then they posed together.

Ds looks really happy for her.

And a hug. I love the look on dd’s face.

Then they did some twirling together. These might be my favorites. Yeah, this was more than worth stopping on the way to the bus.

Then some lessons on the proper way for a princess to wave to her adoring public.

I have others. My son's first time at Pirate's League was amazing. He was so happy.

The first time we went, and saw the castle for the first time. My daughter was smiling so hard, I could hardly see her eyes. She grabbed my arm and said, "Mom you made my dream come true."

This may make me a horrible person. It my favorite disney memory isn't even with my own kid.

Was there with then boyfriend (long before kids). We were commando tourers and after a week we were exhausted. We plopped down on a curb in Epcot (I think maybe waiting for illuminations) and were SO TIRED.

Then this little girl, probably 4ish walked up to me. "Hi. I saw princesses today. I saw belle and Cinderella and sleeping beauty. Did you see any princess? I Saw Mickey and Donald. Did I tell you I saw Belle? Hey, look there's a duck!" She went on and on and on not even taking a breath.

Eventually her parents called for her to catch up and we watched her walk to the next exhausted couple and do the same monologue, including the "hey look there's a duck!" part. Then went on to the next group.

It was the funniest thing. We still do the "hey look there's a duck" thing when we get too tired and cranky.

In 2004 we just had one of our sons, then 4. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom lodge. When the cast member showed us to our room he walked over to the patio door and opened the curtain and there were 2 giraffes looking in at us up close. I would love to have seen the looks on all of our faces. We were all like WOW.

On the same trip, we went to Hoop de doo Revue. When they were bringing out the strawberry shortcake I was selected to go on stage to play the Indian in the skit. My son was so excited to see his dad on the stage. He still remembers it.

In Oct 2013 we took our youngest son, then 6, on his first visit. On day 2 he got one of those Pluto hats with the big snout and the floppy ears. He wore that thing everywhere the rest of the week, including on the plane home. The highlight was when Pluto signed the hat for him at a meet and greet in HS.

Those are just the ones that come to mind quickly, but there were so many more.

This was from our 1st trip to Disney. My youngest loves Goofy. At the time he thought the characters we real. He wanted to meet Goofy more than anything else.

As soon as it was our turn he ran up to Goofy and Goofy picked him up and swung him around. The smile on his face is priceleSs.

Giraffe traffic jam on Killimanjaro Safari. DD6 (then) is obsessed with giraffes, so that was wonderful. It was also the first Disney ride in any park for us as a family :)

My favorite was from our first trip with DD. It was everything you want your first trip to be filled with magic, pixie dust and hope for a certain disney bug to be caught. She was bitten early in the trip, but my absolute favorite came toward the end of our trip. I had booked the fireworks dessert party to watch Wishes! After yummy desserts, we took our place at the wall to watch the show. Tinkerbell flew right over our heads and was waving and blowing kisses. DD looks at me with a grin from ear to ear and said "Mommy she waved at me! At ME!" She has been hooked ever since.

We had a magical moment this last trip to Disneyland. My 4 year old DS was dressed up as Peter Pan and was getting TONS of attention. We spotted the REAL Peter Pan and waited to meet him. He spotted us in line and gave a thumbs up to us. When we got up, he asked my kids "Do you want to go on an adventure with me?" Of course!!! He met the little girl behind us, who was last in line, and then took my kids (I have a DD who was almost 3 at the time too) by the hands and skipped them all the way from Storybookland to the hub area telling them they were on a treasure hunt. They then searched through all the bushes for the treasure. Finally he found two pinecones and declared them the treasure. My 4 year old said, "The treasure is a pinecone?" And Peter told him "It is a treasure because we found it together." It was so amazingly wonderful! I will never forget them skipping throuugh Fantasyland with Peter Pan!

My favourite experience was when me and my family stayed for the EMH hours in Magic Kingdom. There was almost nobody riding the rides in Fantasyland and it was magical. We did Enchanted Tales w/ Belle with a small group and were the only people on Dumbo, so we went round three times in a row! It was perfect

A few stand out:

Way back when my husband and oldest kids (youngest wasn't born yet) were given VIP stickers that morning. The whole day they treated us like that. It was very cool!

My youngest got to dance with the Prince at 1900 Fare.

Oldest celebrated her 16th birthday at DTD. She still talks about how great the CM's were and how special she felt.

I have several but here just 2 of my favorites:

My daughters first trip on her 3rd birthday. She had her Cinderella dress on and we were heading to CRT for breakfast. As we turned on to Main Street she took of running towards the castle. She couldn't wait to get there. Thankfully I had the camera out and got some great pictures on an empty Main Street of a tiny Cinderella running as fast as her little legs could carry her.

On our last trip this November my daughter now 7 had gone to BBB and had her Belle dress on. We had dinner at Be Our Guest. When it was our turn to meet the Beast my daughter walked up to him and curtsied. The Beast took her by the hand twirled her around and danced with for a few minute.

Both times I had no idea she would react like she did, I am just glad I had the camera ready!
