What are your favorite things to do at WDW as a couple? What is the ONE thing you HAVE to do as a couple every time you go to Disney?

I'm going in June on my honeymoon and since I haven't been to disney since I was 14, I dont remember anything that would be fun to do as a couple, especially since the last time I went, I went with a college prep group.

We honeymooned at WDW also, 10 years ago! We loved everything about WS - we stayed at BWI so we ended up in WS pretty much every night, just to have a drink and wander around, shop, people watch. Also, Boardwalk is lots of fun too, especially on the weekends when there are more activities taking place.

Congratulations and Best Wishes!!!

DW and I always take a carriage ride at either POR or FW. They also have one at WL but we have yet to take that one yet. We also love seeing Cirque du Soleil. Enjoy a nice dinner at the House of Blues and then stroll on over to the show.

Make sure you get the bride and groom Mickey Ears - I have heard you get all sorts of best wishes and little bit of magic when you wear them!!!

My DH and I did the WL carriage ride and it was great. They supplied the champaign and everything. We also loved doing the Keys To The Kingdom Tour together and finding out all the little secrets about MK :thumbsup2

One thing we love to do is to go to Beaches and Cream and order the Kitchen Sink. They make a big production by flashing the lights and making an announcement in the resturaunt, and everyone applauds. We convinced DS and DDIL to do it last year for their first anniversary:

Congrats and enjoy your Disneymoon!
If it's things in the park you're looking to do together, DH and I love to wander around AK on the Pangani Forest Trail and take our time holding hands and enjoying the animals (his favourite thing in the whole park is watching the Gorillas!). Then top off the evening with a wonderful viewing of Wishes at MK. For real romance after Wishes, just find a nice spot to sit or lean to view, then just wait for the park to empty out. It is so pretty at night with the lights on, and hardly a soul around after about 25 min.
If it's not in the parks, we like to resort-hop and take in all the theming at each resort (esp. the deluxes and our beloved DVC resorts). We found a nice swing on the beach at the Poly one night and sat together to watch Wishes across the lake. That was romantic.
You'll just have fun whatever you do because you're together  - take in every moment and have a great time!

where are you staying?

if on disney property but not on the monrail.

then take the bus to the MK - then take the monrail to the Polyn - walk along the beach at sunset. then eat there (like Kona Cafe - but even the snack bar - Captain Cooke is okay) - then go back that night have a drink from the pool bar and watch 'wishes' firework on the beach. also EWP.

secondly, take the boat back to the MK. (if it is still going)

depends upon where you are staying but some of the resorts have a nice walking area - Po, OKW, CBR, CSR, SSR, Polyn - all do - wl and fw - are close enough to walk too.

My wife and I went to WDW on our honeymoon last October. I will recommend against wearing the bride and groom mouse ears. We received buttons that said "Just Married" that were just as effective in getting us free stuff and best wishes without looking ridiculous and without being associated with some of the people who wear those ears. Most of the people we saw who were wearing the ears were loud and obnoxious about their honeymoon. No offense if anyone who reads this was honeymooning last October and wearing mouse ears, but it just wasn't our bag.

I will give you the (mostly) comprehensive list of free and otherwise nice stuff we got during the honeymoon:

1. Free dessert at California Grill, Shula's, Coral Reef, Raglan Road, Restaurant Marrakesh, and a bunch of counter service restaurants.
2. Free champagne and strawberries at Hollywood Brown Derby in lieu of free dessert (we were on the Fantasmic dinner package).
3. California Grill decorated our table.
4. 'Ohana placed us front and center for the evening's activities and we participated in the show.
5. Coral Reef gave us a personalized menu.
6. The Norway boat ride operator gave us a boat to ourselves, which was pretty cool. Same thing happened at Small World.
7. WDW Dolphin gave us champagne, etc.
8. Enough "Congratulations!" from CMs to last our entire marriage.

I would recommend eating at California Grill one night when they're doing Wishes at MK. Tell them in advance that it's your honeymoon; we got a sweet table for viewing and they decorated it nicely and really made us feel special. The fireworks are also good.
