favorite event on ship

OK, I'm choking up reading this and I haven't even BOOKED a cruise yet (YET!).:boat:

I'll never forget sharing a hammock on Castaway Cay with my husband. You know, it was one of the three over near the bar that sticks out on the water...we were there for what seemed forever. Time stood still. We just swayed back and forth, staring at the water and the ship. Our older kids were, somewhere else, having fun. But we were just together, quiet. I swear, I thought I was in heaven.

I can't wait to do that again in June. :)

I like standing in front of the "windshield" on deck 10 (in front of the sports area) while the ship is doing 20+ knots (especially at night).

on the Cruise Meet thread and then spending the ENTIRE WEEK
with them and making friendship that WILL last a lifetime. Nothing,
in the previous 5 cruises, has been more magical for my DH and me.

YES!!!!!!!

A Disney Cruise by itself is wonderful.

A Disney Cruise when shared with your DIS friends is awesome!

Being able to have family time and adult only time during the trip (knowing the kids were well taken care of and having fun :cool1: ).

That's a good one, we are looking forward to that!!!

Relaxing in the Rainforest in the Spa with the other moms, knowing all of my family is as happy as I am!

The sailaway party NEVER gets old!

Coffee on the verandah while evryone else is sleeping, planning my next fun day of disney joy.

meeting new friends without children and spending the day in cozumel with them and then spending the last night sharing a bottle of champagne celebrating their 10th anniversary

having disney put me in a nice hotel because if the stinky hurricane

walking on the boat the first time and knowing i have 7 days there.

looking at the pics they took of us on formal night

the breakfast in bed one morning

the fresh air

watching the kids with the characters

Actually relaxing on a vacation once - on those Deck 4 chairs. (Especially watching my husband set a new record for falling asleep - about 4 seconds.)

Having breakfast at the buffet early enough that it was practically deserted and enjoying the slight breeze, warm sun, and sense of peace.

And... sleeping like a rock (what a wonderful change from the norm).

embarcation ...because for the next seven days I know it will be MAGICal
!!

Thats a good one. Especially if the ship is heading straight into a 20+knt wind. Just be sure to hold on tight to small children!!

I have to say the first time I sailed, I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be a part of something so wonderful. 2 years later, I am going again and this time, I am bringing my parents to share the magic.

The FAMILY TALENT SHOW because my kid is AWESOME! We bought her a new guitar in Cozumel and she played and sang in the show. She's 10, plays like an adult and sings like an angel. She makes me cry. The CM's started the standing OV. I WAS SO PROUD! IT WAS MAGICL FOR THIS MAMMA!

Palo pizza -- any of them. Such a crunchy, thin crust. (My mouth's watering!)

Chocolate souffle.

Opportunity to see new ports of call.

CAREFREE TIME WITH EXTENDED FAMILY but also time alone with my own.

Priceless.

There were many favorites. Some of the few:
Especially enjoyed watching my DDs having alot of fun in the oceaneer club and lab. And DD 10 enjoyed her independence - checking herself in/out of the lab.
Loved the talent show - our DD and her friend tapped to LaBamba.
Really loved each and every show, especially Til We Meet Again and the Kids DCU show!
Just being on the Magic itself (very family oriented) and spending time with our dear friends and their children.
Can't wait to go again one day! :cool1:
