What is your favorite TS restaurant at Epcot? We will have our DS (4) with us so the cuisine can't be too exotic but we also don't want another buffet/character meal.

Any suggestions??

Considering you will have a child with you, I would recommend Teppanyani. I think he would be "kept busy" watching the chef cook and it's pretty good food.

Our favorite is Marrakesh. We've done it with a 3yo, and everything was great. She loved the bellydancer. :)

Is Teppanyaki a Japanese steakhouse (where they cook the food right in front of you)?

Audrey -
Yes - they cook right in front of you. We went there in January with our 5 year old DD - and I think it was her favorite meal of our 9 day trip.

However, we also tried the restaurant in Mexico (name always escapes me!) and she liked that too. It was crowded and dark - but kind of fun. However, when you add margaritas at lunch (for the adults of course!) - it makes for an expensive meal! We then did the boat ride afterwards - which made it kind of neat.

Our Favorite is Teppanyaki in Japan.

Followed by
Le Cellier
Biergarten
Rose & Crown

My kids have eaten at all the above restaurants since they were young. My DS has been eating at them since he was 18 months.

Mmmm, Le Cellier. But I would only go here if your child is restaurant-friendly. (Don't get me wrong, they are kid-friendly, but there is no entertainment like Teppanyaki or Marrakesh or a smoking volcano like Mexico).
You might ask for some opinions about Biergarten - I keep reading mixed reviews, and it is family-style, not buffet, with an oompa band. I have no personal experiences, though. Also, if you are fish eaters, there is the Coral Reef in Future World w/ the big aquarium, again, no personal experience, though.

And, btw, the blond cutie in my siggy pic is named Audrey! (We just loved the name, no other reason! :teeth: )

We LOVE LeCellier, all of the kids really enjoy it there and always ask to go more then once! The food is GREAT!!

We really like the Rose and Crown.

We like Chefs de France and Biergarten. For a small kid, Biergarten is probably a better choice.

We all loved Le Cellier....but my kids were most entertained at Teppanyaki. I like the food at Le Cellier better though!

DF and I really enjoyed Le Cellier. It was definitely the best food we had in Epcot. Alfredo's and Chefs de France were both okay. We haven't dined in any of the other countries.

How about The Coral Reef? I haven't been there, but it seems the atmosphere would be fun for children.

The Coral Reef was an outstanding meal, with exceptional service, and they were very accomodating with our 2 year old (he is very restaurant friendly) but still this was a great place for him.

We have also tried Le Cellier, L'Originale Alfredo di Roma where we have also had great meals just not as much entertainment.

Then there is always Garden Grill for a character meal, this was by no means our favorite though
