I need help in choosing an Epcot restaurant. I have eaten in Japan, Canada, and Mexico. What is your favorite and why?

Chefs de France! It's so good they can even elevate a simple ham and cheese sandwich into cuisine!

I agree with the previous poster...Chefs de France is yummy!!! DH ( :goofy: ) & I usually make it a point to eat lunch there by ordering their entree called "The French Menu": classic onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese, classic French toasted ham and cheese sandwich served with a green salad, and baked vanilla cream brulee with caramelized brown sugar...all for the great price of $14.95!

If I'm not too hungry, their classic onion soup is more than enough to fill my tummy at the bargain price of $4.95!

I knew I would be in trouble for thinking about that place...I haven't had breakfast yet... :rotfl2:

Reading about Chefs De France, I think I'll have to add it to my "to do" list for our next trip.

So far, our fave in the WS is Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco. I love lamb, and their lamb dish is out of this world- I thought it was GREAT! We also really liked the chicken bastilla and beef brewat roll appetizers. DH had the lemon chicken and thought it was yummy. The food is interestingly spiced, but not hot or too "different" for choosy eaters. DD7 loved it- she is pretty adventurous, but can be fussy about things if they don't "look right". She shared the more authentic food with us, but they do have a more traditional kids' menu of chicken fingers, burgers, etc, as well.

This restaurant is now a "must visit" for every trip!

We love the Biergarten - beautiful atmosphere inside, a fun band for live music (not constant - they have a on-and-off schedule) and great food. :thumbsup2

The teppanyaki place in Japan is amazing...I love Japanese food and this place is really good! The Living Seas is also pretty good, and the atmosphere is amazing--looking at the gigantic aquarium.

I'd like Biergarten. Love the lively atomsphere.

I believe Marrakesh does belly dancing too and you sit on the floor and the dancers encourage the children to dance with 'em.

no votes for coral reef? im skeered. I have a resie for it.

Another vote for the Biergarten.

Love German food anyway plus the fact that it is buffet style I end up waddling out of there.

Love the band.

Love the beer. Looking forward to downing another liter of Optimater on our trip next week. :drinking1

I'm one of the ones that loves Alfredos...Coral Reef is a nice experience as well. :thumbsup2

Coral Reef is not my first choice, no. It IS my second choice though. Fine cuisine, artistic presentations, and a wonderful dining room.

Alfredos is incredible. The food is fantastic, the desserts are awesome, and the service is always excellent. We always have fun there.

Rose and Crowne also has excellent food and a wonderful view of Illuminations.

If you're lucky. Only about 30% of the tables have a decent view. We've been very lucky, actually, getting a view of Illumations three times out of the eight times we've eaten there during the show.

Le Cellier (pretzle bread, cheese soup, and maple creme brulee, yum!), Alfredo's (fresh pasta and chocolate mousse!), and Teppanyaki (I don't know why, but we just like it!) :thumbsup2

I would choose Chefs de France, Rose and Crown or Le Cellier.
