Lets have a thread, if nobody minds, of our most favorite disney memory. Mine is listed somewhere on another thread and will repost if it somebody continues this. Let's think hard folks, we all must have alot or we wouldnt' keep going back!!

but in my top 10 is the time we went and my neice, 7yrs, was FINALLY tall enough for Space Mountain! We were all so excited, she was absolutely out of her gourd to go... we get into the spaceship and as we are climbing that first hill she puts her hands up in the air (well trained by her dad;)) and yells "ROCK AND ROLL!!!" It was so stinkin' cute I laughed like a kid the whole ride.

My favorite Disney memory is of my then 2 1/2yr Dd. It was our very first trip to Disney on our first day and first park, MGM. We were big Toy Story2 fans and my Dd loved Jesse. Wouldn't you know it, Jesse was the first character we met. My DD was hugging her like crazy. Jesse was so sweet, she kept touching her heart and cheeks and hugging my daughter back. It was so sweet. I still look at the pictures and want to cry. It's one of the best memories I have... :cloud9:

From when I was a child, I bought an inflatable Minnie pillow and used it on the plane ride home. I can still smell it and everytime I smell that certain plastic smell, I long for Disney World.

As an adult it's when my then 10 year old (now 11) and I walked through the lobby of All Star Sports, past the pool and onto the "football field". He looked so happy and in awe. I still tear up when I remember it.

As a kid it was around '74 when Snow White scared the ..@%&#.. out of me and my brother (it was scary back then)..!! My Dad was carring both of us, one in each arm, to go ride Peter Pans Flight. I had my A-E Ticket Book in my hand and dropped it along the way because I din't want to ride another "dark" ride. When we went to board, my dad obviously realized I didnt have my tickets. He informed the CM of the situation and asked if he could return to the front of the line if he retraced his steps and found the tickets. (I was hoping with all my might that he wouldnt find it.) The CM said "if you find it, I'll let you right on the ride". I'll be danged if my dad didn't find it still on the ground half-way between PPF and SW...... So I rode PPF, my eyes closed until half way through the ride, and I loved it. Hence the reason I belive in the saying, 'If you fall off the horse get back in the saddle'...lol.

As an adult it was when I took my son for the first time that he could remember (he was 6 months on his very first trip). He was around 5 or 6 and we were watching the afternoon parade at MK. He was pulled from the crowd by Bell to help "set the table". The excited look on his face as he walked back to us was priceless! I knew that at that moment he "GOT" what Disney is all about! Needless to say were going back this June for his 7th trip in the last 11 years.

We have so many. But one of the best is....

Sitting on the Tahiti building beach at the Poly watching the fireworks. There was no else on the beach but myself, DH and DD. It was the first time any of us had seen the fireworks. Not to sound overly corny.... but we almost started crying.

So many choices, and all within the last year....

I would say was when my daughter, dressed as a tigger, saw tigger at CP.... And tried to kiss him...

i do not have a favorite memory yet, i never went as a kid so now each time i go i am so caught up in the magic of it all. I guess i will need many more trips so i can find that favorite memory.

I have so many great memories, but one that stands out involves my daughter.

She had already been to WDW several times as a baby, and we took her again when she was two and a half. She didn't remember going before. She had just gotten Lilo and Stitch for Christmas a month before and loved watching it. We drove up to the All-Star Music and got out of the car to walk to the lobby to check in. Just as we entered the lobby, the music from Lilo and Stitch began to play. It was pure magic, Disney World welcomed her in! We couldn't have planned it that way, and it was the perfect beginning to the first Disney trip she ever remembered.

Gosh, there are so many...

One of my favorite times happened this past January. My 7yo twins were finally tall enough to ride Rock n Roller Coaster. :cool1: Seeing my normally shy DS dancing out of the preshow area all full of himself and my DD's face on takeoff were absolutely priceless! We rode a total of 14 times in two EMH nights and although DH and I were turning a bit green  they had the best time ever and it will remain one of my favorite times at WDW.

As a child I remember our first after Epcot opened. My Dad was SO excited to eat in all the restaurants in the World Showcase. He had bought one of the travel guides and had learned he needed to be at the gate when the park opened and RUN to the reservation center under Space Ship Earth. I vividly remember watching my father and 3 or 4 other men sprit towards "the big golf ball" and being totally in awe of the whole system with the CMs on TV screens and you would talk to them to make your dining reservations. Not necissarily a "magical memory" but I remember how awed I was by that. :)

My all time favorite Disney memory happened for us this past Christmas Eve. We arrived at Ft Wilderness Christmas Eve. We had one of those "if it can go wrong, it will go wrong" experiences on the way to Orlando and ended up arriving several hours after we thought we would. My husband and I had promised our kids we would take them to a park while my parents set up the RV. We weren't planning on having them out "late late" though but by the time we made it to Ft Wilderness and got everyone ready to go, it was after 9:00. We could hear the Wishes fireworks as we were on our way towards Ft. Wilderness. Since the kids had slept most of the drive down, they were pretty wired so we decided to make the most of it and go ahead and go to the MK for the last couple of hours (we were AP holders so we didn't mind going in for only 2 hours). We walked in as people were streaming out of the park. I asked the CM at the gate about the 2nd showing of Spectro and she told us it would be starting in 5 minutes. We walked in and got a spot right up front on Main Street. After Spectro we headed into the park as even more people started leaving. We felt like we had the park to ourselves and didn't stand in lines for longer than 5 minutes, we even got to stay on a few things without getting off. At park closing we got the kids a little treat and sat out on Main Street to let the lines for the boat back die down. After a few minutes of talking about how happy we were to be back and what a perfect night it was, the "kiss goodnight" started playing. We watched that and were thrilled just to get to see it at last. At the end of the "official" recording Mickey said "oh, and by the way....Merry Christmas!" (it was now a little past midnight so it was officially Christmas Day). When we turned around after that we saw it was SNOWING on Main Street! My kids went nuts they were so excited! They were twirling around and giggling up a storm trying to catch the "snowflakes." My husband and I just sort of stood there with our arms around each other watching them and he says "I think this will be my favorite Christmas memory of all time." It was even more special that the park was so empty at that time so it all felt even more magical...like Mickey planned it just for us. :) I still tear up thinking about it. I only wish I'd had my video camera. I figured I wouldn't need to lug it around with me since we'd only be in the parks for about 2 hours. Of course, without it I got to experience it "live" and not through a camera lense. ;)

My favorite memories are the time spent with my children and grandchildren whether we are at WDW or on the Magic.

My favorite disney memory is from Fort Wilderness. We stayed there and went to the campfire/movie. You sit on wooden logs, that have been planed down flat so they aren't so uncomfortable. Before the show starts a cowboy comes out and goes on the stage with a guitar and starts everybody singing. Chip and Dale come out too. But I left my ex (not at the time) on the logs with my bigger kids and I took the younger kids to the campfire with our coathangers and marshmallows in hand. Picture this... about 10 dads with their kids around the campfire, I come in and get my kids positioned to roast marshmallows too. The cowboy starts singing zipadidoo dah, and all of a sudden, (memorex moment) the dads all start singing really softly to their kids, and you hear this hushed version over at the campfire. Still brings tears to my eyes. A wonderful disney moment away from the hustle and bustle.
Enjoy and have your own lasting memory.
That was 13 years ago... My baby is now 16

We only have two WDW vacations under our belts, but they are full of wonderful memories...

...the first being last year, our first day...we dropped our stuff at the hotel and went over to Magic Kingdom...I think I was more excited than DD4, DH wasnt all sure what Disney was all about. We were all experiencing it for the first time together...so, we are approaching Mani Street USA and I have the camera rolling and when we turn onto it and DD see's the castle, she turns around with the most astonished look on her face and says 'this is the best vacation - ever' and was all smiles! I could hardly believe we were actually in WDW an approached the castle just before the next showing of Cinderella's suprise celebration...we sat on the curb in front of the castle, waiting...and my emotions over took me and I cried happy tears.

...on this same trip we had PS's for CRT, DD was a huge Cindy fan. Being inside the castle and seeing all the prinesses, especially Cindy...she could hardly stand it...she was dressed as Cindy and the picture we have of them together is just hearwarming...its framed on her dresser...

...This year its all about the princes...her biggest crush is on Prince Eric. While at WDW last month we were waiting for the princesses at the tent. we get our turn and discover that Prince Phillip is with Aurora...DD was beside herself that a prince was there...she was about to burst. and when she got her 'special' picture of her and the prince...they were hugging each other  ...she couldnt speak, that is how happy she was. her feet didnt touch the floor for the rest of the day!

...Wishes always makes me teary eyed...even listening to the CD on the way to Target over the weekend!

My favorite memory was with my dad when I was around 9, (summer 1975) Now my dad's pastor and never made much money, but he took us all to Disney anyway. He was never big on frills like suvenirs either, he just couldn't afford to be at that time. Anyway, I LOVED POC,and after going on it, I just had to have one of the toy muskets they used to sell in the gift shop. Back then they were a real cap gun that actually shot cork balls, very cool. Anyway, my dad actually said that I could have one, but he didn't want to carry it all day long, and he was sure that they would have them at the gift shops closer to the exits.

Anyway, we stayed untill the park closed, and as we were heading out we of course found that they did not have what I wanted on main street. I was crushed, and expected dad to tell me 'we'll get it next time' or something like that, but instead he grabed me by the hand and we took off across the park at a dead run all the way to carribean plaza, and he bought the silly thing for me just as they closed the store.

POC is still my favorite ride in the parks, and taking my boys on it now is always special to me. In fact this fall we hope to take my parents back there for the first time since they took us as kids. Maybe I'll buy him a suvenir in caribean plaza!
