I had an interesting conversation with a straight friend while standing in a Disney line. The subject was favorite Disney hero. My fav is Tarzan with all those muscles! yummmmy My straight friend told me everyone knew that Prince Eric from Little Mermaid was favorite of all gay men. Did I miss the memo on this?

No. You didn't. Prince Eric is in the middle of the scale for me.

Eric's okay, but I always preferred Prince Phillip (from Sleeping Beauty) - I want a man who can sing and dance...and wears a cape. Or Shang from Mulan -mmm. But I can see the appeal of Tarzan. I'm assuming you've seen the artwork someone has done of mostly-naked men of Disney?

Prince Eric does it for my bff, but not for me. I am a Milo Thatch (Atlantis) kinda guy.

Hard to say which is fave hero really.

This is going to sound really strange... I am a 34 year old gay guy.
Yet I watched Frozen for the first time yesterday. Good film and LOVE Let it go :)
Anyway how come I found Elsa pleasing to the eyes lol. I mean the bit in the song when she let's her hair down, Even as a gay guy I thought man she is hot lol.

Sorry if that was a bit off topic but I find it amusing if not a bit strange :)

You're definitely not the only gay guy out there that loves Elsa! She is awesome on many fronts. :)

I recently went to a sing-a-long for Frozen at the Castro Theater in San Francisco and the gay boys in the audience went crazy during Let It Go. :D

My favorite 'traditional' hero would have to be Robin Hood...so many to choose from though.

This sparks an interesting question...define hero? Many of the princesses can be considered heroes!

lol good to know mate.
Elsa is very cool and the whole way Let it Go was done for the film was brilliant. But yea when she lets her hair down and then struts :) I do not remember disney ever making one of there chars so sexy :)

I agree Robin hood is very cool..

I've also been to a Frozen singalong at the Castro, and yeah, the entire audience (including me) was totally into Let It Go. It's Disney's most recent coming-out song, eh?

I love Tiana, Elsa, and Merida for being strong independent role models for girls.

I also like the whole 'let it go'/LGBT link people have come up with (was it intentional or not? :confused3). Anyway, I just think that they are a step in the right direction as far as the Disney Princess franchise goes and I hope there's more to come :lovestruc

Kristoff from Frozen is my new Disney crush - have you seen the pictures on Facebook of the sexy Disney characters?

Never realised they looked so good - lol
