OK so I have an ADR for Raglan Road in May. I've been looking at the menu online. The problem is, everything sounds so good. So can you tell me your favorite dish?

My favorite dish is the only one I ever had, which was the "Burger R Way." I'm a burger guy and it was excellent, the bun was soft and warm, the Dubliner cheese added a nice flavor and it was just delicious. A very popular item in my traveling group was the risotto. Everyone raved about it. Our seafood lover had great things to say about the chowder (although you're not supposed to call it chowder). The opinion of our group of six is you can't go wrong.

The one thing we all agreed on was that the bread pudding was out of this world (if you have room after dinner).

I love the apps - scallop forest, and "heaven on earth"-ribs in guinness

I've loved everything I've tried in several trips.
We loved the Scallop Forest last fall, it was wonderful. The Sod the Stew hit the spot too. I have had the beef salad that was outstanding, as well as the serious sirloin steak. DH loved his Fish & Chips. and DS loved the Shepherds Pie.
I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose.

My husband enjoyed the shepherds pie although, he wasn't too happy finding out after that it was made with lamb. I enjoyed the fish and chips.

My favorite is the Pie in the Sky~ the chicken and mushroom pie with a salad.
I've only ever gotten that since I like it so much!

DH and DS love the Shepherd's Pie.

The onion rings are scrumptious!

The only thing we've ever gotten and didn't care for were the drunkin' chicken skewers appetizer...we thought the chicken was rather bland and meh.

Love Raglan Road!

Believe it or not. The Smokie City (smoked haddock and cheese dip) is outrageous.

My husband enjoyed the shepherds pie although, he wasn't too happy finding out after that it was made with lamb. I enjoyed the fish and chips.

Shepherds pie is traditionally made with lamb. It is called cottage pie if it is made with beef.

The steak has been lovely both times i've had it - had it with the irish chips (fries)

Dessert wise the bread and butter pudding is yummy.

Raglan road is a must do for us.

The fish and chips are also good.

The Guinness ribs are my favorite (and no you can't taste the Guinness)-- it's just a sweet/smoky bbq kind of flavor.

I always get those with a side of colcannon.

The scallops were fantastic (it's an appetizer, but I will get that as my main course next time)! We also really loved the burger and the shepherd's pie. The Not Bleedin' Chowder really disappointed me twice, and we think the fish and chips are better at Rose and Crown.

Looking forward to trying the ribs and the steak salad next time.

The only dessert we liked was the bread pudding. That was worth the trip!

Shepherd's Pie and the Short Ribs.
My wife and daughter always do the fish and chips.

My DH and kids are not really into British food - do u think they would enjoy any of the dishes here? Everything on the menu sounds incredible to me :)

We tried Rose n Crown the last trip and they all said it was just OK. Dh had the steak and said it was fine. kids had fish n chips, and it was "fine". I had the shepherd's pie...which was YUMMY (but they said "fine"), and the Sticky Toffee Pudding which i could have eaten all day long (they said "fine"). Do we see a pattern here??!!

After that, I concluded that they just don't care a whole lot for English food (particularly my dh). He said it was OK, but he didn't get all that excited. now Ohanas...he raved and raved and still raves (whereas for me, it's good, but not as great as he thinks it is LOL!!)
