We went to 50's Prime Time Cafe twice during our trip in July/August and heard alot of comotion. (good, laughing comotion :teeth: ) We saw some GREAT ones, and had some interaction with one (SO much fun!) :rotfl: next to our table. I was wondering who you've tried to request when you go to 50's PTC? Thanks!!!! :goodvibes

I had read here that Topher was good but he wasn't there when we went. I got my second choice, Aunt Claire. What a hoot! We loved her! I wish I would have caught the name of the server in the other corner, she was really good too. I love the food but especially the atmosphere here! :earsgirl:

We had Topher when we dined there for the first time in August. He was very good, but I think I would have preferred a "Mom" type. Since this was our first time there, it was hard to tell. He did keep up all of the antics throughout the meal, as in "no elbows on the table" and he really chastised us when my mom called us on my cell and we were all chatting with her. He also put a paper Ariel bib on me. We all enjoyed the fun.

Those most fun we had was one our very 1st trip to 50's and it was with Cousin Mickey. We never laughed so much over a meal. It was one of the highlights of the whole trip. We tried to get him on our 2003 trip but the wait was to long and I wished that we had waited because the one we had was not in the acting mood at all. Food was still good. I just hope we get someone really great on our Dec. trip. Keep the names coming because I'm taking them with me and will ask for one of them this time. We have family from NY coming with us this time that has never eaten there so I don't want to have another bad experince this time.

We have had two outstanding "cousins" at the Primetime. Topher and Cousin Richard. Both were really into it and we loved it! Cousin Richard is no longer there but he was great!! Reminded me of my younger brother when we were kids. Always running to "mom" tattling about my elbows on the table. He had me stand and sing the teapot song! This was New Years' Day and the joint was packed!! Last we heard, he had moved to the Brown Derby. With Topher, my daughter had a piercing in her cheek. Very small but he noticed it and would not let it pass!! He teased her so much her face was as red as her sunburn!! Kept asking her if she wanted him to get the pliers and pull the "fishhook" out!! I hope that he is still there when we go next August. We will definately wait for his tables!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks!!! I hope to be able to get one of those!!

When do you request who you would like?

:goodvibes :teeth:

When we arrived for our PS I just asked if I could have Topher or Aunt Claire and they said Topher was off and gave me Claire.

We had a girl (cousin) in Aug who was great. She made my husband sing the teapot song when he gave her a smart answer about an elbow on the table.

If I get her name from my sister I will post it.

Our favorite server by far was Anas. We have requested him on every trip and he never disappoints.

My family still talks about our meals with him years later. In fact, we still call my mom "Sister Mary Catherine" because he teased her at lunch one day about being such a goody two shoes. :teeth:

Our first time at 50's we had Cousin Chris....what a complete hoot he was.The second time we went we asked for him and the hostess just rolled her eyes and told us that Cousin Chris wasn't there at this time...he was on vacation. Which was a good thing, she said, as they all needed a break from him too. We had a woman that time who was not a great server, in any aspects. She actually made us late for Fantasmic. Then dd and I had another girl who was okay, but not a lot of fun. Then we went in August and had the most wonderful woman. We loved her. But I can't remember her name. It might have been Sue. She was shortish, a bit plump, not fat, just well padded, with shortish dark hair. She was so much fun. And she had absolutely no problem with the fact that dd and I only wanted a chocolate milkshake each. She got a very nice tip from us. It was wonderful watching her with the tables around us!!

We were there in 03 and I thought Brother Bob was the best! I had my picture taken standing with my nose in the corner. We're taking it back with us next week to see if we can get it signed! This restraunt is a MUST DO!!!! attraction in its own! :goodvibes
