Favorite counter service meals?

What's everyone's favorite at Morocco CS? I've never eaten there, but will be there in about 30 days...... :woohoo:

I've always enjoyed el Pirate Y Perico in Adventureland at MK. Unfortunately, it is rarely open these days.

My absolute favorite place for counter service is The Land in Epcot. The huge variety and quality cannot be beat IMO. It's a must do for at least 4 or 5 lunches per trip. :thumbsup2

I think DAK has the best counter service in the World, especially the Flame Tree BBQ. Go to Mexico in Epcot. Peco's Bill is OK at MK. Counter service stinks at the Studios.

I've been wondering this myself. I plan on going to Flametree, Columbia Harbour House, San Angel, and Cosmic Ray's. I also plan on going to ABC Commisary in MGM but I'm not sure about that one. I went to Pizza Planet once and was disappointed. If anyone else has suggestions about counter service in MGM I'm all ears! That one about the cheesesteaks sounds good.

TUSKER HOUSE in Animal Kingdom is da' bomb! Yummy!

I also like Pecos Bills in MK. Cosmic Rays has a lot of choices....I also like the fish, chicken AND sandwiches at Columbia Harbour House.

We hit Casey's everytime we go to MK... we also love the chowder at Columbia Harbour House. :cheer2:

I've heard some good things about the new Noodle shop at Tomorrowland Terrace, but I haven't actually eaten there yet.

We have done Cosmic Rays lots of times... the fixins bar is great
but while "Ray" is cute if you're in the mood, if your tired he can seem loud & annoying.

At Epcot, we really enjoy Sommerfest because it's authentic German street food... IMHO much better than Biergarten. And Cantina de San Angel... for the best Margaritas!!!

Have fun where ever you choose!

Why do you like the Tusker House. I love Flame Tree. What do you get at the Tusker House?

Tusker House - the roast chicken is delicious and such a nice change from burgers and chicken strips!

Earl of Sandwhich was also a big hit this year.

Here's our list of faves:

AK: Tusker House, love the salmon and roasted chicken. Also like Pizzafari but not for the pizza lol, we like their chicken sandwiches.

MGM: We generally have lunch at Sci Fi then get hot dogs in the amphitheater before Fantasmic. We had pretty decent burgers once at the place near TOT and RNRC. Not too many choices at MGM for cs.

Epcot: San Angel Cantina and the place in Japan. Nice sweet stuff at the bakery in Norway, especially the schoolhouse bread!

MK: Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bills. Have had back luck beyond belief at the Village Haus and thought the Noodle place was gross too. We ALWAYS have to have hot dogs at Casey's each trip. No idea why, out of my family of four only dd likes hot dogs anyplace else!

DTD: Earl of Sandwich

We also have had good, tasty, inexpensive luck at each and every food court at the various WDW resorts we have stayed at.

DAK - Tusker House: salmon with rice and veggie, rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and veggie, fried chicken sandwich with steak fries

DAK - Flame Tree Barbecue: ribs or chicken

MK - Casey's Corner: hotdogs and fries (you can drown in cheese if you so desire)

MK - Columbia Harbour House: chowder

Epcot - Tangierine (Morocco): rotisserie chicken with yellow rice, lamb shawarma sandwich

Epcot - Boulangerie Patisserie (France): ham and cheese sandwich and DESSERT

Epcot - Yakitori House (Japan): Tonosama Combination (teriyaki chicken, sukiyaki beef, tempura shrimp) or Teriyaki Chicken

(NOTE: We HATE both CS & TS Mexican restaurants... not enough Tex in the Mex for us... we're weird)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (Land): haven't yet... but it looked good when we got drinks before Soarin'

DMGM - Backlot Express: grilled veggie sandwich

DMGM - the cheesesteak place by the Indy show: uhhh, cheesesteak

DMGM - Toluca Legs Turkey Company: uhhh, turkey legs

DD - Wolfgang Puck Express: chicken strips and mashed potatoes, WP Warm Chicken Aioli sandwich

DD - Earl of Sandwich: The Original 1762, Caribbean Jerk Chicken
