What is your favorite go-to counter service restaurant while in the Animal Kingdom? Why did you choose this specific location: food quality, service, theming, location in the park, and/or other reasons? I believe that I've included all CS choices in AK, but feel free to add if I've missed something.

Beastly Kiosk (Counter Service, 1 credit)
Dino Diner (Counter Service, 1 credit)
Flame Tree Barbecue (Counter Service, 1 credit)

Love the Flame Tree BBQ ribs and chicken all for one credit. So good and so filling. Get extra napkins ribs are messy. :)

We've only been to AK once, but we LOVED Flame Tree. We chose it in part because it was convenient to where we were at when lunch time arrived, but also because of the menu. We had scoped out our options prior to going and knew approximately where in the park we would be when we'd be ready to have lunch. It was a great decision and we plan to go there again on this trip coming up. We LOVE pulled pork sammies!

I am not a big fan of BBQ or of the sides at Flame Tree.

We always hit up Pizzafari for lunch. One of us always gets the Hot Italian Sandwich and we split that and a pizza.

Actually, we kind of love them all at AK. Pizzafari is a beautiful CS, we eat breakfast there at least once, Flame tree and Y&Y tie for us, love the bbq, and the honey chicken at Yak will feed 2 easily. For snacks, the eggroll cart, Mr Kamals, and the apple dumpling with ice cream & carmel at Trilobites is terrific!

Ours is def. Pizzafari, but it has much more to do with the fact that it's indoors and has plenty of space than the food so much. The food's not bad, but it's nothing special either. We go in Sept., so having a place with air conditioning and plenty of seating is important to us.

Flame Tree is good. Cheap food, you get a good portion and the food is good. Just make sure you sit at a table that is under the pavilion other wise the birds will pee on you. I saw a few people get pee'd on the last time we were there.
