Favorite Condiment?

??? Isn't calorie free ranch/Thousand Island an oxymoron? How is that even possible?

I have no idea how they do it, but I have the bottle right in front of me. The label says "calorie free, sugar free, fat free, carbohydrate free, gluten free and cholesterol free" on the front. On the back, in the nutritional panel, a serving is 2 Tablespoons and says it has zero grams of everything - same as on the front label. It does have 190mg of sodium.

These dressings (and they have other stuff like pancake syrup, coffee flavorings, etc.) are advertised in Weight Watcher's magazines. Maybe they have a minute amount of calories/carbs but not enough to be calculated? Kind of like pickles maybe? I don't know, but they are delicious! :)

Different things for different foods. As a kid, I always ate ketchup on scrambled eggs and also on hotdogs. I hated mustard. My mom used to make homemade salad dressing by mixing half ketchup and half mayo, which is basically thousand island without the pickle relish.

As an adult, I like different varieties of mustard on sandwiches, but never on hamburgers. Due to regional tastes, the NYC area is apparently the only place in the US where McDonald's and other fast food burgers do not come with mustard.

I have many favorites depending on what I'm eating but I would say mustard most often. I do like ranch dressing and salsa on many things too though.
