Favorite CM on DCL?

its always nice to return to the ship and see familiar faces. we had an asst. server a few years back named erasmo who then went to server and to our delight was head server on this past trip. each time we meet up with him he hugs us and spends a few moments catching up and always remembers things we have told him from previous trips. we also like to see how alvira is doing, she's great, reminds me of whoppi goldberg. then there's itso from croasia (? spelling) who we had last year and ran into this past cruise and remembered us. our servers this time around were ronald from the neitherlands and william from india. they were great.

Cue and Ang from the enteriment were both very nice, Also Depak and christi, our waiters and Edson the pizza guy helped make our curise magical

One of my former favorites is Ian. Recently, he was sailing on the Wonder in Entertainment. Is he still there????

We just returned yesterday from our Eastern cruise on the Magic. Every CM we came in contact with was fabulous. Our cabin steward, Orlando made awesome towel animals. Our servers Sanjeev and Cornwall were wonderful. We also loved Kadir from Turkey who was in Sessions every night and even played his harmonica while the unbelieveably talented pianist and singer Daryl Lockhart performed. If anyone is sailing soon, be sure to visit Sessions. Daryl is terrific and it is so relaxing to sit and listen to him every night.

I miss the ship already!

Rodolfo (Puerto Rico), our stateroom host was unbelieveable. He even picked us out of 280 guests to take the time to give us a personal towel animal making lesson AND we got a picture with us and him and our "zoo" from his boss AND we got certificates to document our "Magical Memory" from him.

Herlan (St. Vincent) and Sylvester (India) were awesome servers. Herlan made us feel like we were part of his family. Sylvester always had chocolate milk waiting for Alana and Jeevan (head server) did magic tricks for us.

*wahhhh* I miss them all!!

Such a great guy! is he still working with Bruchell? Both are so wonderful, I was traveling withmy sisters - no kids and thursday night Bruchell brought crayons for me, before i arrived. They really know there stuff.

Constantin was working with Navneet, from India-whi is also excellent-this was our second cruise with him. Constantin has 1 more week on the Magic and is then going home for a visit. My son adored him!!

We have also had Deepak in the past and he was great as well.

Beckie from Canda is wonderful....I heard she may have been moved to Palo from the dining rooms....any confirmation on this.

We were on the June 26th cruise and had requested Beckie. She had been moved back to the dining room, but was on a different rotation then the one we had been assigned. We had already made our Palo, and massage reservations based on our assignment. We had Alvin and Leandro who were great, and got to have a long chat with Beckie in the atrium when we boarded.

Well back on my first cruise I had a server named Gabriela. She was the best and in my mind I will never have a server quite as good as her again. The next year we went back we tried to get her again, but failed. And then the next year she was on vacation when we were there. But last year on the second week of back to backs I was able to talk to every single dining room and guest services person and we had Gabriela again. Gabby and I have kept in touch for a few years by email, She is no longer on the cruise ship, she got married and moved to England. However, she is definitely the best server, and best person we met on the cruise!!!!! Has anyone ever had her?? I'm sure you loved her too!!

We just got back from the Eastern Cruise on the Magic on July 17. We LOVED Daryl Lockhart, the piano player and our server Claudio and his assistant Gede. The CM's were great!

We had Das on our cruise this week and really liked him too. He had my DD8 in the conga line dancing with him in Parrot Cay and then on the last night kissed her hand goodbye. She was thrilled.

I have to agree about Edson!! My teen DSs were his first customers of the July 3 western. Edson called them by name the entire cruise. If one DS was there without the other, Edson would send an extra slice. You are right-he always had a smile I wrote some nice comments about him while on the ship.
