Favorite character dining experience

I'm just starting to look at character dining that would interest my DD4. Can you share your favorite places and tell me what your children love about it? I am thinking of having her birthday celebration at a character dining restaurant as well. What do you think? Thanks for your help

Hi, our favorite was Crystal Palace. We went there for lunch on our last day and loved the food and character interaction. My boys were 4 and 5 at the time. The characters are Pooh & Friends.

Our family favorite is Ohana's Lilo and Stitch breakfast. We love the food there, and DD loves Lilo and Stitch. Who is your DD's favorite character?

We've done Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree (twice), Princess breakfast in Norway, and 1900 Park Fare. I'd say out of them all, DD4 would probably say she liked the Princess breakfast the best, and then the rest were all about the same. My least fav. was 1900, but it was okay, just the least fav. We really like LTT, we like the family style where they bring it to you instead of hte up and down to the buffet.

Really, I don't think you can go wrong!

I love Cape May breakfast (early) because the food is awesome and the place is pretty quiet so you get a lot of character time. Minnie, GOofy, Chip and Dale are so cute in the bathing suits and they spend alot of time with you..they play games and talk to you by writing on the paper tablecloths.

My 3 year old and 10 year old nieces loved the Princess Breakfast. The food was very good so the girls did eat and the face to face with Belle, Aurora, Mulan and Ariel was amazing. It made their entire trip.

We also took them to Chef Mickeys and they had fun with all the characters but did not like the food at all (dinner) and they were hungry later that night..waste of money for us. Goofy scared the heck out of the three year old. She was in line for food with DH when Goofy came up behind her and tapped her on the back..it freaked her out and she refused to go near any GOofy we saw for the rest of the trip. If we were in a gift shop she would pick up the plush doll and announce that Goofy was a bad boy because he scared her at dinner!

We took my 3 year old to the Playhouse Disney Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine. It was so much fun! If your DD watches any of the Playhouse Disney shows, it is the perfect thing! Jojo, Goliath, Leo and June were there, and there was lots of dancing to all kinds of Playhouse Disney music. Not at all crowded, good food and great interaction.

We just LOVED Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare last year. I'm so sad that it will be closed for our trip this year. Another favorite for us is breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

We have been to several and my 4 year olds favorite was definately H&V. He danced with them and I got it all on video. It was so cute watching him have fun with the characters he sees on TV.

We like Akershus Story Book Princess Dining in EPCOT. We had the dinner and enjoyed the Princess interaction as well as the food.
The Cape May Character Breakfast was also yummy and the kids were really happy with Goofy spending extra time with them.
Crystal Palace was also very good we did this for breakfast and dinner.
