Favorite Bay Lake Resort Area CS?

Just wondering which one is your favorite for lunch (or dinner-I'm guessing menu is the same) & why?

Also, any particular meals you recommend there?

I'm only interested in CS at: WL, Contemporary, GF, or Poly.

My vote was for the Contempo Cafe because in my opinion they have the best menu since their items are more upscail, plus some items like their various Salads are made fresh each time you order them. At other locations they are pre-made and kept inside a fridge all day. Besides that they also have the most tables among the Magic Kingdom Resorts, so that means they have the biggest location and I like their atmosphere the best. Finally it's the only location where you can see the Monorail go by while you are eating.

They are all awesome restaurants in beautiful settings! Read the menus and decide which would appeal most, or decide which resort you would most like to explore. Our personal favorite for both setting and food is Captain Cook's, because it is in our favorite resort. Plus they offer Dole Whips for dessert (but no Dole Whip Floats).

I've been to all of them several times. I think Roaring Fork is the worst (least variety), while Captain Cook's is the best. The menu has a unique tropical influence, and you can get dole whips for dessert.

My kids prefer contempo cafe but I prefer captain cooks! I love the aloha pork sandwich!

I voted for Captain Cook's, but it would be between that and the Contempo Cafe for me, but I like the atmosphere at Captain Cook's better, so that gets the edge.

I've really enjoyed the beef flatbread at the Contempo, and the salad and grownup grilled cheese at Captain Cook's. You really can't go wrong with either.

Thank you for your replies so far! We are deciding between Captain Cook's and Contempo Cafe. We have actually been to Captain Cook's before (it's the only MK resort CS we have been to. We love it there, but just wanted to see if anyone had any opinions on the others for us to try something new.

The monorail view while eating seems very appealing to us to try Contempo Cafe though.....

I actually love Captain Cook's at the Polynesian, (all time favorite being the pork sandwich and dole whip for dessert) but I think Contempo Cafe has more variety. Contempo Cafe is my new favorite and have returned several times. They do have some selections that are only available at dinner.
(Pastas, vegetable bake and some others) My favorite quick meals there are the stacked ham sandwich and the marinated beef flatbread.
The cupcakes at Contempo Cafe are AMAZING!

I'd have to say Roaring Forks (WL) and Gasparillas (GF) are my least favorites. (not much selection, unimpressed with the food)

Definitely like Captain Cook's a lot.

We found Roaring Forks to be very very small, though admittedly, some of its food did look good.

Love some of the more unique options at Captain Cooks like the Aloha Pork Sandwich, the "grown-up" grilled cheese and the home made chips with fried wonton. And of course the Dole Whip. The kids and I love taking the monorail over from the CR when we stay at BLT. Contempo Cafe is also good, but I voted for Captain Cooks because they have items you can't get anywhere else at WDW. (But save room for a cupcake from the Contempo!!!!!!)
