Favorite baked goods ~ where & what?

We're on the hunt for the freshest, yummiest baked goods in WDW. Preferably at the parks. What are your opinions? tia.

The main street bakery in the magic kingdom is chock full of yummy goodness! I really like the cinnamon rolls, but I've heard great reviews of almost everything there (esp. the french toast bread, and brownies) The smell is the best part--it sucks you in

My favorite is the almond covered pretzel at the bakery in Norway at Epcot. It's so sweet and yummy.

The bakery smell is a chemical that is pumped out onto the Main Street area!!

Can't go wrong at the Boulangerie-Patesserie in France. The breads and pasteries are all wonderful.

not just "pastry" but main street bakery sells a cookie ice cream sandwich for $3 that is big enough for 2 and wonderful (choice of cookie, we got white choc cookies with vanilla ic yummmmmm) and Ghiradelli has a warm cookie sundae...a 1/4 lb choc chip cookie *warmed* , ice cream hot fudge and carmel ,whipped cream, nuts..... superb !!! am not a big fan of ice cream but these were great! creme brullee at brown derby and these little florentine cookies at biergarten. stickey buns at boma, napolean at france bakery, crumb cake ( big enough for 2 for a snack *and* breakfast next day and only $4) at boardwalk bakery, chocolate crossiant at starring rolls in mgm( regular crossiant with choc.frosting yummy)...guess who didn't stay on their diet this trip ! & oh yeah key lime pie at RFC and choc. bread pudding at le celliar!

I was never a big fan of Carrot Cake til I had it at the Main Street Bakery. Also, although I agree that anything from the French pastry shop is excellent, my first choice is their Peach Tarts. Although they have Strawberry Tarts listed, I've never seen any. Anyone else?

I vote for the french toast loaf at Main Street Bakery. It is devine!! DH really liked the cinnamon roll there as well. YUM.

forgot to mention the cinniman (sp) pecan crossiant at fountainview ( ps we were there 10 days and split most of the desserts just so I don't sound like too much of a pig!) but worth every calorie!

We love the chocolate cake ( a cross between mousse, pie and cake!) and the delicious cream- filled skoolbread from the Kringla Bakery in Norway!

And, if you're like us and are doing Atkins........

Kringala Bakery in Norway does a mean sugar free chocolate mousse, and the Fountainview and the Boardwalk bakeries do a sugar free cheesecake!

Another fan of the Main Street Bake Shop's French Toast Loaf here. Very Yummy! We also enjoy their crumb cake.

On our last trip we "discovered" the Funnel Cakes in America at Epcot which were delicious!

We also made a stop at the BW Bakery. I tried some of DS's donuts and couldnt believe how good they were. Even better than Krispy Kremes!

I LOVE the giant rice crispie treats, as well as the cookie ice cream sandwich from the little shop in Liberty Square. Giant warm Toll House cookied with a slice of ice cream in the middle... YUMMMYYYY!!!

Also, the big cinnammon rolls at Starring Rolls Bakery.

I LOVE the chocolate croissants at France! Get extras and take with you, and warm them up! Sooo yummy!

The brownie sundae with Mint Chip ice cream at Ghiradelli's. The brownie is so warm and fudgy.
