favorite attractions at mgm for 2 year olds?

we're heading to wdw in october for my kids first trip to the world. we have a 4 year old and 2 year old twins. dh and I have been several times, but pre-kids, so we are trying to figure out which things the kids will like most. mgm is stumping me a bit. I figure they will all love the playhouse disney show, but what about the other ones? like the little mermaid? do 2 year olds tend to enjoy that, or does it seem to intense?

what are some of the things your 2 year olds have loved? (not just at mgm, but at other parks, too)

Definitely the Playhouse Disney show. That will be a big hit. Also the Muppet 3D Movie. The 2 year olds might get freaked out, but you can always let them take off their glasses. I told my 3 year old if he got scared to take the glasses off. At one point he took them off, but then 30 seconds later put them back on. It ended up being his favorite ride/show!

My son's favorite part of MGM is all the characters. It's really a great place to see the characters and the lines aren't long like in Toontown in the Magic Kingdom. There are usually characters at the big hat. Sorcerer Mickey is inside a building on Mickey Avenue and there is NEVER a line in there! It's awesome! Also, Buzz & Woody are at Al's Toy Barn. And Jo Jo & Goliath and the Little Einsteins are outside two trailers on Mickey Avenue. MGM is fantastic for characters. We're doing the character lunch next time with the Little Einsteins. Can't wait for that.

Playhouse Disney Live on Stage, Voyage of the Little Mermaid (my daughter loved this at 2!), Beauty and the Beast Show, Muppet Vision 3D (although can be a bit intense for some little ones, we waited until she was 3 & she loved it too) - She also likes the Magic of Disney Animation walk through, there is that great little theatre in the beginning with the character from Mulan (little dragon) appearing in a funny little skit.

Actually, while my husband & older sons ride the big stuff, sometimes my daughter and I mill around and enjoy the atmosphere. The are so many things to just look at and investigate. She loves to run around under that hat! And play with any characters she can find.

You'll probably only need a half day at MGM so if you're not bothered about the thrill rides like RnR and ToT, FP the Little Mermaid.

Fantasyland at MK will probably be what they enjoy the most! That's where we'll be spending most of our time no doubt!!

We have always had a hard time making a whole day out of MGM with the kids. We usually do Playhouse Disney Live and Star Tours now that the kids have reached the height restrictions. My DD is too scared to do the Little Mermaid show even though that is her favorite movie and the Muppets 3D made her terrified of vacuum cleaners when she was 2(she still has not gotten over it), so we won't be doing that one again anytime soon. We also like to see the characters there and we always find some good pins for our collections. We spend the rest of the day at Epcot. HTH
