We were talking about a few today at work and just wanted to know what others have seen. For instance:

- One lady talked about taping the push button on the phone (the part when you hang up that disconnects the call) and then calling that person
- One time in the Marine Corps we got some blue ink, put it on the earpiece, then called him
- Another time, we had a shredder that shredded the classified documents to powder. We took the leavings of that and filled his desk (all of his drawers) to the top with it.
- I heard about a joke done in LA. A plane was coming in for a landing and saw next door where some construction work was going on, and the workers put up a sign that said "Welcome to Chicago" in big, bold letters.
- I've always wanted (for when I get a little bit of extra money) to buy an old Pacer, put in a sun roof, then seal it completly. Then, the night before April Fools, put it somewhere that it could be seen by lots of passing cars, fill it with water, then fill it with fish, just to see the reaction.

Anyone else?

In 1996 or 1997 -- Taco Bell had a full page ad in USA Today announcing that they had purchased a particular American historical item and were renaming it the Taco Liberty Bell.

Apparently some people got upset, but I thought it was hilarious.

Check out this site for the story. The site says it was in the New York Times but I know it was also in USA Today.
