Favorite airport?

I like the Burbank Airport. It's small with outside baggage carousels and you have to walk out across the tarmac to the plane. But hard to get nonstops.

Local airport is JFK for sure. Newark is a close second but their gate area is crowded with few bathrooms (nothing says line more then 3 flights deplaning at the same time). Dead last and you would have to score me a massive deal is La Guardia.

Flying through I can't remember the name (possibly Charlotte) that has the rocking chairs.

I always hated LaGuardia until this past year. I always fly JetBlue and every time I would breeze through security (one time nobody else was in line). Then the terminal was right there. JFK can be a huge trek, at least between T5 and the AirTrain.

HRL (Harlingen, TX). Only 7 gates, so it's always an in & out affair.

I like LaGuardia a lot. Yes it's a dump but I find it very quick and easy to get right out to the taxi stand.

My favorite is my home airport, Sacramento especially if flying SW. I just dropped my DD and her BF off for Disneyland yesterday, 2 minutes max. The whole new terminal is almost for SW. I normally like to pick her up because they have rocking chairs looking out the window but btdt, told her I'd meet her outside 20 minutes after her plane lands. It doesn't hurt that I live out that way and it's only a 15 minute drive.
My worst-Kansas City. We had a 3 hour layover and nothing to do. We ended up sitting on the curb counting how many times we saw the car rental shuttles come/go. LOL

Flint, MI airport. Nicest airport I've been to. Small, modern, newly remodeled, clean. Parking is right across the drive, so you literally park, and then walk over to the terminal. Direct flights to Orlando and Vegas. It's so easy to maneuver around in it. It's only a 40 minute drive from my house and no heavy traffic.

Orlando. Easy to drive to, easy to find your way around in, things seem to run pretty efficiently every time I'm there. I love being able to get a rental car right at the terminal. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, and the overall atmosphere is bright and pleasant.

Least favorite is my home airport, Philadelphia. It seems like no matter where you're going in there, you're walking for miles. I've been flying out of there for 20 years and I still find the layout confusing. Baggage claim has always been absurdly slow. No matter how often they re-model, it looks dated and depressing. Shopping and food options are unimpressive compared to other major airports.

Oh I cab so can't get much closer to T5. The only one I use mass transit to is Newark.

JFK taxi stand use to be right outside as well. All the construction has it out at airtran now. Ugh. Thankfully Uber still gets to pick up in arrival area. I heard La Guardia's moved as well but haven't been in awhile.

I like YYJ (Victoria BC, Canada) its a small airport. Love doing security and customs here, so quick! YVR Vancouver is a close second, being a major international airport, it's clean, easy to navigate, staff very helpful, and good food service and shopping.

I like Orange County and Ontario. Easy in and out. Never any security lines when we are there. Lyft picks you up right at baggage claim at Orange County. The Alaska gates are right next to the security checkpoint at Orange County.

JAX Easy to get through, most days. Finding where to go, fairly simple.

Colorado Springs Tiny airport, laid back atmosphere

I must be the opposite of most people flying out of Philadelphia, I don't mind it at all. Never have an issue with TSA and loved the International gates last year. My only issue is finding decent flights. I do fly early morning or late at night so that may be a good thing.

I did like the airport in Indianapolis a few years ago but it was a little confusing trying to negotiate.

Yeah, I mean it's gotta be MCO. Not only does it mean Disney, but it is pretty efficient and nice.

I also love SNA (Santa Anna) and DAL (Dallas Love Field) because they are smaller and easier than their alternatives.

I like the Atlanta airport. Granted, I've only changed planes there, but I have changed planes there a lot, so I am familiar with its layout.

A lot of people will say they hate Hartsfield because it's the busiest airport in the country (perhaps in the world if I'm correct), but now that I live here and have flown in/out of it at least a dozen times, I don't find it bad at all. The check in building is really easy to figure out, security...considering how busy the airport is...isn't bad and getting to your gate is easy too.

My home is PHL and I really like that airport. No shuttle trains, etc... Easy.

I can't say i have a favorite airport but i have to tell you I was very impressed with Detroit. We flew through there on our way to Cleveland. It was bright and clean with nice waiting areas, shops and eateries.

Flying into San Diego is a pretty neat experience as you go thru downtown. The old Hong Kong airport was like that as well. Pretty cool but also kind of scary.
