Favorite Actors/Actresses

While watching "American Gigolo" today, for the first time mind you and only being able to put up with 45 minutes of it, I noticed that Hector Elizondo was in it. He is one of my favorite actors. He always gives a very wonderfully consistent performance. That got me to thinking about some of my other favorite actors/actresses.

So, in no particular order, here they are:

Gene Hackman, Hector Elizondo, Clint Eastwood, Matthew Modine, Tom Hanks.

Hmmm, very few women on this list. Oh, well, these guys will almost always get me out to see one of their movies.

I think that Billy Crystal is really funny! Tom, Julia, and Meg just make really good films. Meg's work has been questionable her last 3 or 4 movies.

I'm a big fan of Gillian Anderson (Dana Skully from the x-files.) I was her in a play last weekend in London and she was excellent. She was on stage for the whole play and only left the stage once for about 30 seconds! I also like Hugh Grant, Richard Dean Anderson, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and David Duchovney.

My favourite is Al Pacino..he is the most intense and precise actor I have ever watched on screen. His performance in "Scent of a Woman " was just outstanding and typical of his skill practicing his craft.
