The Cramps-Goo Goo Muck
Flesh For Lulu-I Go Crazy
Lords of the New Church-Russian Roulette
Clan of Zymox-There's Something Wrong With You
Dead Can Dance-Enigma of the Absolute

Nope. In fact, the Plasmatics is the only one I've heard of. And I graduated HS in 1985.

I've heard of all those bands, but other than Flesh For Lulu (whom I like), I wouldn't recognize any of their songs. The Plasmatics and The Cramps were just too bizarre for me. And the others "too goth."

Wow, that must be really deep stuff. I love the '80s, but have never heard of any of these.

Nope. In fact, the Plasmatics is the only one I've heard of. And I graduated HS in 1985.

Even if one is not familiar with their music, I'd think everyone of a certain age would have at least heard of the Plasmatics and The Cramps. They were "notorious" of "infamous" in the 1980's, ala Marilyn Manson in the 90's. The others weren't mainstream, but there really wasn't anything too weird about them either.

Looking back with a clearer mind 30+ years later, OK, I admit the Plasmatics and Cramps music was awful. But it was fun at the time.

Liked Flesh fro Lulu, Dead Can Dance are veryGoth, liked done song but got stuck in my ed and became really annoying, aint going back there.
