What are your favorite restaurants for Quick Service meal, or Counter Service meals on the dining plan at the parks and at the resorts.

Our favorite counter service in in the Coronodo Springs Resort, it is Pepper Market. We usually do lunch or dinner there on the day we do a character breakfast. We normally do it the day we are at MGM, take the bus there eat and take the bus back. It has cooking stations, and you go up and order your food. There is a waitstaff that brings your drinks. You get real plates and silverware. We feel it is like a sit down.

We liked Sunshine Seasons at Epcot. There's plenty of variety and quite a bit of healthy food. The Chinese combinations were quite good with a lot of fresh vegetables.

MK: Columbia House - varied menu!

EPCOT: Electric Umbrella - now many will disagree but I thought the chicken tenders were good. DH and I would split fries -- & get a fruit salad. Also the Sugar Free brownie was wrapped and portable for eating later!

AK - not much there now. Flame Tree is good if you like Barbeque (not me but food ok) so we might try Pizzafari this time!

Studios - don't know - only eat at Mama Melrose when we are there (Table Service).

Can't wait to see what others say. DH and I are really not picky eaters. We never met a meal we didn't love at WDW! :thumbsup2

MK -- Columbia Harbor House (great sandwiches) or Pinocchio Village Haus (liked the Turkey Panini)

Epcot -- Sunshine Seasons

MGM -- None

AK -- Flame Tree Barbecue -- love the ribs, the pork sandwiches are average and love the beans

MK -- tie between Pecos Bill's and Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT -- Sunshine Seasons
MGM -- Backlot Express
AK -- Flame Tree BBQ

But my absolute FAVORITE is Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace. Great quality for what you pay.

MK- Pecos Bill for hamburgers
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons
AK-definitely Flame Tree- IMO, the best CS in all of WDW.
MGM-never did CS

MK: columbia harbor house

EP: sunshine seasons

MG: (nope - nothing here)

AK: used to be tusker house..... :sad1:

MK: Pecos Bill's
EP: Tangierine Cafe and Sommerfest in germany
MGM: uhh, always eat in Prime Time, no idea
AK: Flame Tree BBQ

MK: Pecos Bill for burgers or Columbia Harbor House for light fare, like sandwiches and soup. Cosmic Ray also has a huge variety.

MGM: This park is short on CS places, adequate ones anyway. But I do like Toy Story Pizza Planet. It's much more consistent than the Backlot or the Commissary.

Epcot: I love Cantina de San Angel. It's one of my favorites in all the parks. I also like Sunshine Seasons. Lots of variety there.

AK: My favorite used to be Tusker House, but it's going to be a buffet now. A very close second is Flame Tree though. Great ribs and chicken here.

DTD: I absolutely love Earl of Sandwich! The sandwiches are awesome. However, I wouldn't use the DDP here. The sandwiches are so affordable that I wouldn't use a credit there again. I'll be paying OOP next time.

MK- Casey's (DH fav) and Cosmic Rays
MGM- Toy Story Pizza Planet (DS fav) and Backlot Express (AMAZING turkey sandwich)
Epcot- Never ate CS here
AK- Flame Tree bbq

We LOVE Sunshine Seasons and Columbia Harbor House. We also really liked Roaring Forks at WL...we ate there twice.

MK - Columbia Harbour House
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (or snacking around WS)
MGM - Pizza Planet (Just pizza, but quality has been consistently fine over the years.)
AK - Pizzafari
Downtown Disney - Wolfgang Puck Express

Also, I think the value and mod resorts have decent food courts if you happen to be staying at one. We often opt to eat our lunch back at the hotel and take a midday swim.

Love the CS at ASMu and Pop. Columbia Harbor House is my favorite QS (Great Sandwiches). Earl of Sandwich is not a bad choice either.

Both the Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express in DTD were better than some of the table service restaurants we ate at a few weeks ago.

I have to say my favorite CS meal at a park was Epcot's Sunshine Season's Food Fair. They have such a great variety and their desserts (especially the whipped cream strawberry cake) were yummy. I didn't realize it until after I ordered my turkey on foccaccia (which was delish) that they also had sushi.

I didn't like MGM's counter service (Backlot Express and ABC Commisary were no better than a MickeyD's). Flametree was good (big portion of ribs, just split that between 2 people). And we never had CS at MK.

At DTD we loved Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich

DTD...Wolfgang Pucks Express (favorite CS in all of WDW and best bang for your buck)

Epcot....usually have fish & chips in England

MGM....Toy Story Pizza...not much choice in MGM

Animal Kingdom... Flametree BBQ.....love their onion rings.

Capt. Cook's at the Poly for Tonga Toast.
Col. Harbour House for the Lighthouse sandwich.
Tangierine Cafe for the Chicken Schwarma platter.

(DH refused to eat at Earl of Sandwich b/c he said it stunk in there!:rotfl: It did smell pretty rank that night!)

I couldn't have said it better-the Pepper Market is great!
