I am just over a month away and still feeling like I need to know more about US/IOA and of course WWHP.
We are planning to get 2 day park to park tix if USSSA ever changes exp dates to cover our dates.
We are off site (Double tree at Universal for day 1 and nearby condo for day 2,) 2 kids 6 and 8, 2 adults(last trip was 04.)

Any book suggestions or other resources?
Other tips for touring in October is appreciated.
I will read up more on the valuable info posted in this group and sticky.TIA

OOOH I spoke too soon, USSSA has 12/14 exp now!
Purchased and on the way!!
I thank those here who mentioned it.

study the layout of the parks so you know where the rides, restrooms, first aid, eateries are located.

that will help save you time if the park has crowds.

weekends will be crowded if the weather is fine.
sundays usually brings crowds if you are hitting the HHN period.
many come in the afternoon to the studios to hit the rides and shows befor that park closes at 5:00.

if you have been reading the threads at the darkside, you know to arrive early before park opening.
eat at off times to avoid line waits for food/beverages.

use the child swap system if one of your kids do not want to go on a specific ride.

Thanks so much.
We are going 10/5 Sunday and 10/8 Wednesday, hope crowds are ok.
Won't need child swap, but thanks. Nice to know it's an option.

small world, i'll be at those parks the same dates.
i can see oct 5th having more crowds late afternoon but the 8th should be perfect with low crowd.

predicting crowd levels is kind of like predicting weather.
sometimes i'm spot on and some times i'm not.
