OK--So Dh and I are going to Bluezoo for the first time on date night in about 10 days while we are staying at the YC. I hear Bluezoo gets rave reviews and I understand it is largely a seasonal menu but I would love to know your experiences here. Food you loved, food that was so-so, etc. Any pics would be appreciated. Also, how are the portion sizes for apps and entrees? if we each had an app, salad or soup and an entree, would that be too much food? What is best as a split dish?

I love salads and Dh loves soups. I am a dessert eater but Dh would rather just skip. We both love seafood...... and land animals as well:rotfl2: I, unfortunately, have a food intolerance to egg yolks so creme brulees and high egg content foods are out and most of their desserts seem laden with eggs. Any suggestions?

TIA:goodvibes

Portion sizes are pretty standard so an app, entree and dessert shouldn't be too much food. That's what we usually get at the Zoo. WE each order our own meal and never "share".
I can vouch for the Miso Sea Bass and either their Tuna or swordfish entree--all excellent. I always get the Tuna tartare as an app and it too is excellent.
Steer clear of their New England CLam Chowder. It's nothing like what you are probably used to. Theirs is just a flavored broth and has no "body" to it whatsoever. It sounds much better than it really is---

Glad to hear the tuna tartare is good. I had my eye on that. Dh and I both love scallops too:thumbsup2 Chilian sea bass is a fav of mine and miso flavor sounds interesting. Thanks for the tips so far:goodvibes
