omg that is sooooo not fair! i just auditioned 4 that part, but I got the understudy and the stupid dog catcher (who has about 2 lines and runs around following sandy ). I am also a little deppressed becuz my 2 best buds from the show got grace and warbucks, which are both leads and the parts they wanted.

as for other stuff, that musical eats up my saturday afternoons, thursday nights, and various other miscellanious tech rehearsals. i also take private voice/acting lessons 1 or sometimes 2 times a week. so i dont do much else, except writing group and the occasional volleyball game in the fall. but i'm glad 2 connect w fellow theater geeks here! most of my friends r not that into it and think that im nuts spendin soo much time @ rehearsal.

how many shows have u auditioned for/been in???? i've been in theatre since the age of 8 and around age 12 is when i started getting alot of leads... so it takes time for directors to trust u and get to know what parts u would be ideal for. keep up with the voice/ acting lessons... they help!!!!!!

I pretty much have softball practice or scrimages every day after school now.
When I don't have softball I go to art club on Wednesday.
I'm also part of the Hospitality Club and Embassador club, but those only meet at 2 times a month tops.

i am sooooo jealous that ur school has a show choir. our school got rid of it 8 years back due to funding. the funds went 2 a sport or course(i think badmition or tennis) our school cares waaaaay 2 much about sports and music gets thrown under the bus.

I play sports so there is some kind of practice every day almost all nine months of school, and sometimes before school starts. I play volleyball, basketball, and run track. I am also a member of the science club and the FFA.
So sleep is like my best friend.
