Father's Day

Any ideas for Father's Day? Need some ideas for us to do with DD's that are 2&3 and DH.

I was originally going to suggest golf until I saw your DD's ages, but what about mini golf? There are 2 courses available. Also you could make a DDR for his favorite resturant.

We are also going to be in Disney for Father's Day. Our kids are older, DD 14 and DS 17. My husband loves Flying Fish (so does our son!) and the Boardwalk at night so we have ADR for dinner there. We will be coming from a few days at Universal/HP so we are checking in on Father's Day. We haven't made any other definate plans yet. However I agree with PP that mini golf is a good idea. My kids still love the Summerland/Winterland course. We do it every trip. Disney Quest may be option as well, they have some fun "family" rides to experienece. We love the pirate one. If you don't mind spending the money, Wishes Dessert Party might be a good option as well. A nice way to culminate Father's Day Disney Style

We have done Father's Day before and we bring gifts with us and when the kids were younger I would have them handmake things and bring them along as gifts as well.

I am sure your DH will enjoy his day no matter what you decide!

Thank you for the suggestions so far. I was thinking of a nice ADR but with the kids it can be hard. They are 11 months apart so it can be difficult sometimes. I guess all 2 and 3 year olds are. I do like the idea of the Dessert Party. We all do love dessert and it wouldn't be as long as a meal. So, is it ok for 2 and 3 year olds?

As a father, I vote for the Seafood Buffet at BCV. Get in and get out, and if he likes seafood he'll be happy. Kids can make noise, they can color on the table, you can take turns filling your plates and it's really easy. When we stayed at BCV in 2009 for the first time, our girls were 1.5 and 4.

Yes at 11 months apart I can see how a longer dinner might be hard and keeping kids that young occupied and may not be the most enjoyable way for you DH to spend father's day.

We have never done the Wishes Dessert Party, though we are going to this June. I beleive it started in the summer of 2009. There are some other good threads on other parts of the boards about it. I would imagine that there are many people who bring young children to it, after all it is WDW. I wouldn't have hesitating doing so when my children were younger.
