Father's Day with the Mouse!!!

My family will be leaving for Disney on June 15th, which means we are going to be down there for father's day! We've been to Disney several times before but never on father's day! Obviously, I want to try to do something cool for my dad, but just after Easter my brother found out that his wife is expecting. My brother already has a step son, but this will actually be HIS first child on the way!!! Needless to say, I want this father's day to be very special for my dad and brother! Is there anything specific that anybody reccomends doing for that day! Also, is there anythign cool going on at any of the parks for father's day that anybody knows about??

If you have ever been down there on father's day or have any tips it would be greatly appreciated!!! I like to put a lot of thought into the things that I do for my family, and I want to WOW them....as if being in Disney won't already do that

Not necessarily "in" the park ... but as a father I would be super pumped if I were given a chance at this

a little expensive but when would your average person ever have a chance to do 6 laps in a exotic car like a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera!!!

Last year, while making my ADRs, I asked DH where he wanted to eat on Father's Day. He picked Shula's. We had a terrific dinner there, & finished the evening walking around World Showcase....DH with a beer in hand. For him, that was perfect!

Also, during that trip, we did the Epcot Segway Tour. Also great!

This will be our second Father's Day trip. My Daddy died almost 3 years ago, and I didn't want to be in town for Father's Day, so where better to be than my Happy Place.

We went to MK that day. All the CM's along Main Street wished my DH a Happy Father's Day as we walked down. It was very sweet, hard on me, but a special, special memory for my DH to have all those Happy Father's Day wishes. We stopped at the photopass in front of the castle for a Father's Day picture of DH with his Princesses.

Dinner at DH's fav. restaurant - 'Ohana - capped off the day.

We didn't find any special events anywhere when researching. Disney Florist does do a few men themed (think beer) gift baskets, but they are really expensive, IMHO.

I let him plan the day - which park, which rides, dinner. Gave him his Father's Day gifts at dinner.

I was going to say, as if being in Disney to begin with wouldn't be a big enough WOW as it is! :') haha!!
