I got reservations at All Star Movies for Father's Day weekend and was going to surprise my husband with them as his gift from my son, but then he started volunteering to fill in for all of his coworkers who were taking days off this summer on his normal days off so he could get overtime. I had to tell him so that he did not obligate himself to work that weekend. I would still like to surprise him with something, but I am not sure what. Any ideas for under $50? We already discussed where he would like to eat dinner on Father's Day because it came up when I told him we were going, so I can't surprise him with that. We are going to go to a park if it looks like I am going to get a bonus at work, otherwise just DTD and Boardwalk. I appreciate any ideas...

Every year we make Daddy a T-shirt. We've done this since DS was 6 ms and DD was 4. He loves them, and last year when we did shorts instead he was very sad. We are NOT artistic. Handprints, footprints, stamps, etc. Then I write Happy Father's Day and the year. Your son would love to help. :flower:

That sounds like a great idea. Thanks!
