I just got the itinerary for my DD's trip to London. We will be traveling to Paris one day and I might have the afternoon free until that night. I know it's a long shot, but could you get from Paris to DLP and get back late that night to our hotel in Paris? I have 20+ trips to WDW traveling from Wisconsin. It kills me to know I'm that close to DLP and not try it for one day. Be honest and tell if it's feasable PLEASE. Thanks Brent

there is a train station at the entrance to the parks. so you would be able to get a RER - metro to DLP.Takes about 3.mins. Theres more info about this in the travelling by train section of the useful info sticky at the top of the page

It's certainly a possability. Would only give you a few hours in the park though so you'd have to work out if it was worth it or not.

When are you going as the parks will shut at about 7pm so you need to work out if it is worth it. It is possible to do though.

We would be in Paris on April 8th, 2009. Anyone know in us dollars how much it costs and I would be going to the main park. Also, I'm interested in mainly seeing some night time fireworks. Historically, is there anything going on that week and is it a busy time there? If it's only 3 minutes to the park, even a short day would be worth it for me. Again, thanks to all for your help.:thumbsup2

In April of this year the park was open until 8pm and unfortunatly there is only fireworks in the Summer season. During the week is usually quieter but depends on the European school holidays.

A day ticket is around £35 which would be $63

It would take you longer than 3 minutes to get from central Paris to DLP - I did it years ago and think is took no more than an hour

Hope this helps

Hi Brent and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

I would anticipate that the parks would be open until 7pm, with the possibility of 8pm as an added bonus.
Take of the 1 hour travel time to get to the park. Therefore you'll be able to work out how much park time is would give you.
Unfortunately there is no 1/2 day admission so you would be charged the full price.
I can understand where you are coming from and if you feel you can get a few hours then I think I'd be tempted to give it a shot :thumbsup2

I just read the traveling sticky at the top, and it says about 35 minutes. In just a few hours I've learned a lot about traveling and DLP from this forum!! I guess DLP will wait until I can give it the time it deserves. My dream trip would be to travel around Norway and make our way towards Paris and make it 2 week trip. Thanks for all your help! I will have to just go and tour Paris at night..poor me...not really. I get to take a trip with my daughter before she goes to college and learn some different cultures at the same time. :cool1:

sorry Ive just reread my first post and noticed I put 3 mins instead of 30. sorry if it confused you

Cyrano, did I do something wrong for you to point out guidelines and rules? I've been posting here since 2000 and never had a problem. If I'm taking this to literal, then I'm sorry. Just wondering that's all.:confused3

Hi Badger,

Cyrano's welcome post to you is his standard one, for members who are just beginning to post on the DLRP forum.

I'm sure you've done nothing wrong :goodvibes
