I hope this guy rots in jail or he gets a celly that finds out that he harmed an innocent little baby. I drive over this bridge twice a day on my way to and from work and it makes me sick to think that this idiot could be so cold that he would do something like this to a 3month old. Signs all over the Garden State Parkway today were urging motorists to call the state police with any information. And to think, this jerk was studying to be a lawyer :sad2:

That's awful. I can't understand how anyone can do that to a child. I pray that he is lying and the baby is found safe somewhere.

I don't understand why they have cameras on the bridge that don't record. What is the purpose of these cameras and who is manning them?

This story makes me sick to my stomach. I pray he has her safe and he didn't commit this horrific act.

My jaw was dropped the whole time reading the article. I cannot fathom how a human being can do that to anyone, let alone their 3 month old CHILD. That is beyond sickening, I hope he rots in h e double hockey sticks. I do hope he is lying.:sad2:

They might be traffic cameras as opposed to security cameras. If that is the case they wouldn't need to record or be monitored when the traffic flow wasn't a problem. I would imagine that if someone was going to pull over and throw anything, let a lone a child, off of the bridge it wouldn't be at a high traffic time and the cameras would probably not even be looked at. This, of course, is only an educated guess.

Now I am at a lost as to which is more disturbing, this man throwing a baby from a bridge or the mom who microwaved hers back around 2007.

It is a sad commentary on humanity but while the story appalls me it really doesn't shock me. Nothing people manage to do to each other any more really does.

There is sick evil out there. :sad2:
I just pray he is making the whole thing up for attention (which is still just as sick)...but the baby is actually alive.

They are resuming the search today. He apparently did it during rush hour and fought off the Grandmother to get the baby. If they do find her not alive, he should absolutely get the death penalty.

I pray this POS is lying and the baby is some where. But the world we live in it is making that hard to believe.

So I think they should tie his hands and feet drop him off the bridge and then bring him back up and do it again & again

I'm hoping that he's lying trying to upset the ex and truly didn't do this. I heard this story on the way to the train this morning and just about got sick. What a complete and absolute loser. There is no punishment that is too harsh for him. :sad2:

That is a high traffic bridge all times of the day--even in the middle of the night. I'm sure that there were witnesses.

No one could survive a fall from that bridge, and of course, no infant could survive in the icey water. I fear that baby is dead.

They were talking about this on the radio this morning. Everyone is horrified.

Our traffic cameras run 24/7.

I've driven over that bridge thousands of times too.....

There is a special place in hell for this guy.

Apparently the cameras show live images, and don't record. They have said they have convincing evidence to make them think he did do it, and they resumed the search today. If this was my child, he wouldn't make it to a trial. The baby's mother had just got a restraining order on him on Tuesday, so he had violent tendancies.

To make things worse, the news said the Amber Alert wasn't put out for the baby until about 3-4 hours after they were notified the baby was missing.

If the public had been properly notified, someone could have recognised the car on the bridge and called the police right away. :sad1:

A couple of years ago there was a sicko who threw his 4 children off a bridge in Alabama. As much as I want to have faith in a higher power I just don't understand when tragic things happen to children.

It's not that I want to put blame on anyone but the father, but...

the perpetrator kidnapped the infant, and tried to choke the grandmother . He then tried to run her over with a minivan.

the police were called immediately.

It is about a thirty mile drive to the Driscoll Bridge from the grandmothers house. They had to know that he was heading south as he lives right outside of Atlantic city.

Could this have been prevented if the authorities had responded sooner?

This is so sad.:sad1:

WOW just WOW ..I can't understand why people do this to kids??? makes me sooooo mad!!! I am pounding the keyboard! GGGRRRRR I hope he rots in jail and someone in there really likes him a LOT!!!:mad::mad:
