Fate/Choices

So we were talking about this in English for the past week or so.

Our class is reading Antigone and our teacher asked us if we thought that fate or our own choices was what decided our destiny in life.

I think that our own choices is what decides our path in our life.
What do you think? Discuss and say why you think this.

but I do not believe in destiny. i do not believe in fate. i do not believe in anything like that. the future is mine to do as i will.

I don't believe in "fate" or "destiny", I believe we just live our lives and what happens happens, know one choose the way are lives turn out we pick how are lives go not anyone else. Destiny and Fate are just figments of are imagination,it's not real. ​
