The way Fastpass 'currently' stands in WDW is even though you're given an hour slot in which to return to the ride you can actually go anytime after that hour slot also and gain access to the ride. ALTHOUGH a CM recently told me that they will be stopping that at some point and you can only access the ride during your one hour slot.

So, my question is at DLP are you restricted to that one hour time slot OR can you return to the ride anytime AFTER your one hour slot and still gain access to the ride by the FP line?

It's always been (in my experience) that you have to come back within the time slot.

Only exceptions have been if the ride is down and then you can come back anytime that day

the fastpass timeslot at DLP is 30 minutes, and yes, they do tend to strictly adhere to it at DLP. To be honest, I've always thought you had to return to the ride with your FP ticket within the 30 minute window, so thats what I've always done, with no issues at all.

Only a 30 minute FP time slot :scared1: OMG! What if you're right across the other side of the park

you can walk anywhere in the main park to a particular ride with a FP in about 10 minutes (even less time in the studios park) :goodvibes.

Really?! Wow I didn't realise the rides were that close to each other! That'll make my ride planning a tad easier.

Do we know approx. what times the below rides run out of their FP allocations (sadly I won't be participating in the EMH - sob):-

Big Thunder Mountain
Indiana Jones
Peter Pan's Flight
Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast
Tower of Terror (want as many goes on this as I can physically squeeze in!)[/B][/B]IJ

Am I right or wrong, I read somewhere you can hold fastpasses for all 5 rides at disneyland paris at once? meaning you could just grab one for each straight at ropedrop and then meander around for a few hours

no you can't do that - its like the current WDW system I believe.
ie you can only get another FP at DLP if you have reached the beginning of the window of your existing FP (for example, if you get your FP and its for time 11.00am to 11.30, you can't go get another FP for any ride until 11.00am).

the only exception to this is if you go get your FP and the time on it is more than 2 hours away (ie you get it at 10am and its for window from 12.30pm to 1pm). in this example, you can go get another FP after 12noon (ie 2 hours after you got your first one).

No fastpasses are one at a time unless there is a very long gap between picking up the fastpass and your ride time - then you will be able to get a second. You can however have a fastpass for a ride in the disneyland park and one in the studios at the same time.

How long does it take to get from the disneyland park to the studio??

I was about to say the same thing as Carrie Cat. Both park entrances are inside the same bag check so it is quite easy to switch between the two. :goodvibes

Depends on when you are going, if it's French school holidays, weekends etc

Off season or in the week without school holidays you will have no pb getting on the rides without using a FP even for PP.

PP is the one that goes the quickest usually followed by Buzz and BTM in the park.
