can we use unused fastpasses in the days after or there is a limitation?

When you get a fastpass you are assigned a 30 minute window of return time. That is the only time your fastpass can be used. So you can't use it later in the day, or any other day.

This is the type of question that will ellict a strong reaction if asked in other forums

FP as poster above states have a set window. We have witnessed CM's being very strict if guests arrived before or after their window

the reason I raised this question is because Mike Jones in his recent trip report mentioned that he used the days before fastpass to geton BTM

Where is the strictness of the CMs?

I think most CMs tend to be strict. However it probably depends on how busy the parks are.
We saw CMs making people wait to one side and not allow them to join FP queue because their window hadnt started.
I think Mike has been lucky and probably the FPs were for the same time as when he went to the ride the day after so the CM has just looked at time and not date.
Worth trying but dont rely on it

I've had varying success with using previous fastpasses - particularly at WDW with a varying degree of suceess and failure! At all Disney parks I've always been able to use fastpasses issued that day much later in the day without any problem - for example, using a 3pm pass at 7pm.

If you get such a CM prepare for the walk of shame, as you have to walk all the way back through the advancing queue
