Fastpasses with purchase

when we purchased DVC in July 2013 it was our last day of our stay and part of the contract was that we would receive a specific amount of fastpasses for our next stay

With the new fastpass system coming into play does anyone know what will happen to this option?

We have two dates that we are traveling. One is in August for a week and one is over New Years for six days. We were hoping to get these passes for the NYE stay since lines are longer then. I spoke with my guide and he said they haven't gotten any information on whether they will work if the new system is in place

Should I just get the and use them in August or should I hope for the best and try to get them for December? I have to go to SSR to pick them up as they active them at that time

they work with the current fast pass machines so as long as they are there you are good. will they be phased out by the end of the year? who knows but i would guess they will still be there. no one will be able to tell you at this point.

its a sperate card so even if you had magic bands, you should still be able to use them in the old machines as long as they are still there.

i would wait until august to decide as there might be more FP+ info out by then.
