Fastpasses to meet Mickey

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. I'm not really against the idea. If the new Town Square Theater is able to accomplish some of the same guest-handling logistics as the Toon Town Fair location then I can see this working out very nicely. For example it would never work out at their new Tomorrowland area.... but I think it might end up being a nice option.

Hopefully the FastPasses for Mickey WILL use the same system so you can't get ride + meet and greet in the same time frame. This will pull some numbers from the rides and it gives a nice choice to families who's priorities may be characters as opposed to the attractions.

My thoughts exactly. :thumbsup2

1) It is about time.
2) Kids and adults waiting hours to see Mickey or Fairies is terrible.
3) At least Fast Pass will give an option.

I found the "four doors" trick in Toontown worked nicely, the wait for Mickey never seemed too long, even when the line was.

Princesses and fairies, though -- those lines were nuts. I'm guessing will continue to be nuts once people figure out where they are.

Completely agreed. Honestly with the Princesses, for the last two years or so we have preferred to go see them at Epcot rather than do the line in Toon Town. With the Fairies we never visited them unless the line was less than 30 minutes (which was rare, of course). It was always a bitter pill to swallow for the fairies, especially since we never got to meet Fawn. :headache:
