FastPass to Illuminations on the 4th of July

I will be in Epcot for the 4th of July and was able to snag a FastPass for Illuminations. Has anyone viewed Illuminations from the FastPass area on July 4th before? I'm wondering how early I should arrive. There will be 5 of us. TIA for any tips you may have!

I use to work that location is it is still in between the tower stores. I think it is the best place to view the fireworks. The tag is done behind America so it is perfect.
